@samobaba24 @sentdefender How would you feel if Mexico let Russia put a few military bases along our border? Only the US is way worse than Russia.

@sentdefender Seriously, I still do not understand why Iran keeps launching attacks on the Gulf states. I feel they are hurting their neighbours and creating more enemies for themselves.

US and Israeli forces hammered two of Iran's biggest steel plants in coordinated strikes Friday night, delivering a sharp blow to the regime's sanctions-proof war economy. Targets were the massive Mobarakeh Steel complex near Isfahan and Khuzestan Steel in the southwest. Iranian state media, including Fars News tied to the IRGC, confirmed damage to power substations, alloy lines, warehouses, and storage at both sites. There are also reports that the steel plant in Esfahan has also been demolished. These weren't random factories. Mobarakeh and Khuzestan, along with other major producers, make up the core of Iran's steel output, roughly 70% of the country's total capacity. The mullahs poured resources into this sector for years precisely to dodge Western sanctions, fund terror proxies, and keep their military machine running. It’s all gone up in flames, which is to say nothing of their capacity to output drones and missiles, which are also grinding to a halt. In response, Iranian state media says the IRGC plans to attack steel mills in the Gulf. They can fuck right off.

@sentdefender Saudis have to find their balls already and go after Iran. They push the US behind the scenes but are afraid to fight with Israel while Iran craps all over them, here, in Yemen and all over the ME.

This country has a two-party system. You either get Republicans or you get Democrats. If you stay home and don't vote for Republicans, you get Democrats. If you think that Democrats are better for America than ineffective Republicans, you need your head examined. If Democrats take over Congress, Trump's final few years will be completely ruined. Look how much Trump has gotten done in his first two years, even with a weak Congress! But you're just gonna sit home and let Democrats take over? What is wrong with you?

Ten U.S. servicemembers were wounded in the drone and missile strike, with two considered seriously wounded, according to the Wall Street Journal. A building on the base was struck in the previously reported attack, leading to the injuries.

According to the Wall Street Journal, citing U.S. and Saudi officials with knowledge on the matter, several U.S. servicemembers were injured in an Iranian ballistic missile strike on Prince Sultan Air Base in Saudi Arabia earlier today. The Pentagon has yet to respond with a comment.

Genuinely curious - what's the broader strategic calculus here that led to this base being a target in the first place? Because the harder question nobody seems to wanna answer is whether our current force posture in the region is actually reducing risk or creating more of it. Quick poll worth asking: do you think the U.S. response will be measured or escalatory? The answer to that shapes everything that comes next.

🚨 HOLY CRAP. President Trump just said America no longer has to be there for NATO "We WOULD have always been there for them, but now, based on their actions? I guess we don't have to be, do we?!" "I think a tremendous mistake was when NATO just wasn't there. They just weren't there. It's going to make a lot of money for the United States, because we spent hundreds of billions of dollars a year on NATO, hundreds, protecting them." Trump NEVER FORGETS.

Reporter: How do you feel about the Iranian Foreign Minister accusing the US and Israel of genocide? Marco Rubio: The Iranian? He's an expert in genocide. They've killed thousands. Every problem in the Middle East is Iran. Hezbollah? Iran. Shia militias destroying and threatening Iraq? Iran. Hamas? Iran. Houthis? Iran. Assad in Syria? Iran. Everywhere you turn, they're behind all of it.

How to topple Iran’s regime: - Arm the protesters. Air drop pallets of AK47s onto cities, cause chaos for regime. - At the same time, seize Kharg Island. Cut off revenue for regime. - At the same time, begin Kurdish invasion with US forces embedded. - Triple air assets in region, provide air cover the entire time. - Do this with 3 carriers, 3 MEUs, and 1 Army division in region, ready to go further if needed. Short of full scale invasion, which can be done with the above assets in case escalation is needed, you can only topple the regime if protestors take to the streets, and they’ll only do it once they feel safe to do so + are armed. The above creates the conditions for that.

@iranidaturan It's a compromise. The American people tolerate the government wasting a couple hundred billion dollars on a bullshit war but don't want boots on the ground because that will likely lead to a trillion dollar war.

As an Iranian, I honestly don’t understand some American’s obsession with “no boots on the ground.” I’m asking this sincerely, can someone please explain it to me? From my perspective, I would genuinely feel offended and angry if I were an American soldier or commander. They are not children. They have agency. They know exactly what they’re doing. This kind of rhetoric deeply undermines the courage, sacrifice, and greatness of American soldiers. I understand that some people say this out of genuine concern for the troops. But to me, it reveals a scared, broken, and traumatized mindset, one that is afraid to face the real world and its dangers, and that comforts itself by denying reality. In the actual world outside, dangers and threats are real. The bravest and greatest people consciously choose to go out and protect their values. I hope these people heal from the traumas of the past, and believe in the capability and strength of American soldiers, and to truly honor their sacrifices instead of constantly undermining them with fearful slogans. #ThankYouTrump#IranWar

This scene is so surreal. A little Iranian girl is swinging، while in the background, IRGC military facilities are burning in the flames of a war they called for, for 47 years. Iranians are waiting for troops to enter and liberate them. #Iran

Since the start of Operation Epic Fury, the ongoing strike campaign against the Islamic Republic of Iran which began roughly four weeks ago on February 28, the U.S. Navy has utilized over 850 BGM-109 Tomahawk Land Attack Cruise Missiles (TLAM) on targets throughout Iran, burning through precision weapons at a rate that has alarmed some Pentagon officials, according to the Washington Post. Prior to the start of the Iran War, it was assessed by the American Enterprise Institute that the Navy had an inventory of between 4,000-4,500 Tomahawks, with only a few hundred being produced every year, while other naval analysts have said the number could be much lower, perhaps closer to 3,000, following their extensive use in recent operations, including the Trump Administration’s strikes last year in Iran, Yemen and Nigeria.

The White House and the Pentagon are considering sending at least 10,000 additional combat troops to the Middle East in the coming days, significantly increasing the number of ground forces the United Stated has in the region as another signal that a major ground operation in Iran is being seriously prepared, a senior U.S. defense official confirmed to Axios. Defense official expects the decision to be made next week and said the troops will be from different combat units than the ones which have already been sent to the region, while more reinforcements, including several fighter jet squadrons and thousands of troops, are expected to arrive in the Middle East in the coming days and weeks, as President Trump continues to consider escalation against Iran.

Another official warns that while the U.S. may be able to capture the island, holding onto it for an extended period of time will require many more soldiers and an extended period of fighting - far beyond the four-to-six week window that Washington has told the public the Iran War would last.
OSINTdefender@sentdefender

U.S. President Donald J. Trump appears to be leaning toward ordering a “major ground operation” against Iran, involving the seizure of Iran’s Kharg Island in the Northern Persian Gulf, with Washington convinced Tehran will buckle under such military pressure, an official from one of the countries mediating between the U.S. and Iran tells The Times of Israel.
