Waymo leaning into the safety positioning. I think it’s going to work. Have accompanied a few friends on their first Waymo rides. The most poignant reactions (beyond the initial “omg this is crazy”) are from women that react with “wait… I won’t get harassed by drivers anymore” and “I can take a ride after a night out and not worry about my physical safety.” One of my friends said that (for years, until this very day) she would make fake phone calls to non-existent boyfriends and husbands waiting for them at home, to make it very clear to drivers to not start any shit. I was floored every time. I just didn’t know it was that bad.

@PatrickHeizer Would sure be nice if government didn't make cigarette manufactures add both flame retardants and accelerants to the tobacco. Ciggies have ~600 chemicals added to them. Pure tobacco is much better for people. It's a sacred medicine. The smoke carries our prayers to Creator.

This year we are adding the most ambitious enterprise to date to our farm. This is the enterprise that has the potential to provide the economic security needed for me to work the farm full time. Full time work on the farm means I get to spend my days with my children, building a business that leaves them a generational opportunity to not have to sacrifice the time with their children that I have had to do for them. This is ambitious - when we recognized that the majority of garlic is imported, it was soon after that we noticed the same for herbs. And then that almost all herb blends and herbal teas are aggregated, not grown or traceable in the way that you want. When you consider the medicinal benefits of herbs - it’s important that those herbs actually have the potency due to freshness and proper growing standards that they actually deliver on what you expect. So here we go - upwards of twenty thousand chamomile plants, yarrow, thousands of calendula, peppermint, spearmint, lemon balm, roses, oregano, rosemary, nettle, borage, butterfly pea and more - it’s all being planted here. If you are interested and would like to buy one of our single source, American grown herb blends or herbal teas - they are being planted now and first availability is expected late summer. I need your support - and I’m thankful. Our meat business continues to grow and now it’s time to add the herbs!

The deadly bacteria that they claim kills kids with Meningitis.... It is naturally occurring in healthy young adults nearly 50% of the time from a simple mouth swab. If they were doing gut samples or nasopharyngeal or BALF expect this to be nearer 100%.

Think about it: You're 17 years old. It's 2011. Everyone is asking what "your plan" is after you finish High School. All the adults you know who work jobs are miserable. They all work at Wal-Mart distribution, the psych center, the prison. Guys work themselves to the bone, develop serious back problems, wind up on pain meds, and the whole scene is heinously awful. All of them tell you: "don't be like me, don't do this." There are the much-vaunted "state jobs" but you know you can't get one unless you know somebody, which you don't. The Iraq War has been dragging on for no real reason for years. All the veterans you know from your hometown are cynical, tell you not to join, that it's all a grift for the CIA to get into the opium trade, etc. And college? The idea seems crazy; you go to "Thirteenth Grade" in order to someday get the dubious privilege of sitting in an office, asking for vacation days, pushing pencils at a desk? It shouldn't really be a shock that I and many others my age chose to drop out of society to live without a job, a car, savings, insurance, ID, or a bank account for most of my adult life. The alternatives all appeared to be absolute garbage. When society sucks, people can and do drop out of society, and I do not regret that I chose to do that. Had you been in my shoes, you might well have done the same thing.

This is the type of archaeological evidence that doesn't exist for the Book of Mormon. This is the Deir ʿAlla (or Deir Alla) Balaam Inscription, found at Deir ‘Alla, Jordan, in 1967. This is noteworthy, specifically because it seems to reflect an older form of the Levantine cult, more in line with that of the Late Bronze Age (1550-1200 BCE)" The people, places, and events of the Bible are real because the Bible is a real historical record.
