Just a few more days until a short vacation! 🍂 Really looking forward to some quiet days in Northern Italy. If I'm not to lazy I'll collect some short experiences in this thread, mostly about the trips I guess.

Last stop of our vacation at Ringrast. Charging Starship at SMATRICS and ourselves at the great restaurant. Perfect location!

T -1 day until our summer vacation 🏖️ in Bella Italia 🇮🇹. It will bring us more than 1,700km south to Calabria and all the way back to Austria. In this 🧵 I'll collect all the charging experiences as we will try to use some CPOs beside Tesla including nextCharge, Enel and ASPI.

We enjoyed our vacation in the Netherlands very much. It’s a beautiful country with lovely people and a lot to see.

Vacation incoming ⛵️🇳🇱 One week in the Netherlands to recharge our bio-batteries. Tomorrow afternoon we’ll go to Regensburg and then on Saturday the rest of the way to Hilversum. I’ll try to collect some impressions in this thread - if I’m in the mood 😉

We brought some goodies back home, among others this hazelnut cream. This is no Nutella, this is DIVINE! We made the mistake to only take one. Where do we get this in Austria? I need this!!!

Ten days until the start of our summer vacation. 🏖️🇮🇹 This year we will travel about 3500 km, first to Apulia (sight-seeing), then Calabria (beach-sleeping), and on our way back a one-day stop in Emilia-Romagna (food-eating). I will collect some impressions in this thread.

Elon Musk has recommended Ukraine to stop its “futile fight” and get to the ceasefire. I wonder what this morally bankrupt idiot would tell his daughter in case she was raped: “don’t resist, just enjoy it.” Musk is a sick individual.

So, the richest guy in the world, an Indian American Trump-impersonator, and a Malaysian man child come together to discuss Ukraine... Sounds like a beginning of a bad joke. And in a way, it is. Only this is the reality of Twitter now. Yesterday, on Twitter Spaces Elon decided to discuss “the end of Ukraine war” with his dudes - Vivek, David and Ian. Why them? Well, Ukraine is what they all have in common. For one thing, it’s one place all of them have never been to. Even more importantly, it’s one place they know nothing about. And it’s one place with whose enemy all of them occasionally disagree in theory but always agree in practice. In all fairness though, Russia is another place they know nothing about… So, long story short, in the end the dudes found a solution to “Ukraine war”: one place they know nothing about should cede territory to another place they know nothing about. And it should be done joyfully, as a contribution to the peace in the world. That’s it. That’s their solution. On a serious note though, yesterday Elon showed once again what he is bringing to the table with the purchase of Twitter. He wants to be one of the judges of the world. Also, his brilliant “alternative to legacy media” is to give the world’s biggest platform, the highest podium to people with zero responsibility, zero knowledge on the subject, and very, very unclear motives. As long as they share his views of course. Elon is an oligarch. Only instead of a TV channel he buys Twitter. And instead of fulfilling his financial interests, he tries to fulfill his desire to play god. He sincerely thinks he’s saving the world from a nuclear genocide, but in reality he just helps the genocidal maniac in the Kremlin to have his way - with Ukraine, with America, with the world.

Solarthermie ist sowas von Scheiße, einfach nicht mehr zeitgemäß. Meine 13m² Hochleistungsvakuumröhren liefern exakt: NICHTS. Es ist stockfinster, extrem bevölkt und tattta: die PV liefert immerhin über 2kW, davon macht die WP aus 1,2kW stattliche 6 kW Wärme. Noch Fragen?

Tesla is now 3 quarters behind on releasing new Autopilot safety reports. The most recent data now dates back to Q4 2022. I reached out to Tesla's PR to ask why they don't release the data anymore, and they told me... they didn't tell me nothing because Tesla is one of the least transparent companies in the world. Tesla has made several efforts to not share any data publicly, including arguing with the California DMV that its program called "Full Self-Driving Beta" is not actually a self-driving test program so they don't have to report data on it. I know that this specific Autopilot data was not great and made Tesla look better than it was, but it was still useful to compare it against itself over time to see improvements. We need Tesla to be more transparent in order to gain credibility on its path to delivering on its promised self-driving capability. We can't rely on anecdotal evidence from Youtube videos, which is literally what Elon suggested we do before. That's mad. Show data Tesla.

@TroyTeslike @lucagrecoita @iSunrise007 However, on the topic of removal of USS and stalks I have a very strong opinion and I wish @Tesla would think again of adding them back. We are crossing the Chasm of early adopters to early majority in many markets (Europe in particular, China already passed it and US lags).
