@Tr3ll1x @LUCKYY10P I think what he is getting at is new games are not coming out that people like.. the #1 category is not a game at all and then 9 other games on this top list in your screenshot are a decade old at least

I don’t understand. This stuff is real, it exists, you can actually buy it, and yet the VR market is almost dead. What happened to the kids in the 90s who dreamed about this possibility? Why do modern kids now go crazy for games where you don’t really do anything, where at most you just swipe up and down, or spend their time screaming in stupid games that require no concentration, like amoebas with no curiosity? This stuff finally f***ing exists, and yet the videogame market pretends it’s invisible. F***! F***! F***! In 1998, when we were 13 playing Resident Evil 2 on the PlayStation with my friends, we would have killed to be able to play something like this. Hell's Kitchen in Vegas sells around 900 Beef Wellington's a day at $73.95 each. So good! I get it every time. Have you ever had it? Don't tell me the one at Bardot is better. It isn't.

@ThePackAddict97 The other side of this people don’t talk about is chatters ruining auctions saying a $200 is worth $50 because they are ignorantly ruining the bids. It’s common practice for even most honest sellers to block people who are actively altering peoples auction bids in chat

@CardsMax Sports will have to reverse the trend of younger generations not watching or caring as much for this to stay true longer term. Ratings and viewership is down across the board except NFL. Almost 50% of Gen Z has never been to a live sporting event

Someone local to me should start a service where you crack cards out of slabs and guarantee no damage to the card. I’d happily pop in and pay, say, $5-10 per slab-crack.

@paulcarldigital Selling low end cards on eBay is pretty tough full time. It is certainly achievable on whatnot and live selling though. Not only does all the listing time go away.. but the cards will all sell right now. Not stay listed for months. Then it’s all already gathered for shipping

Watch me add 72 cards to my eBay store in under 3 minutes. I earn over 600% more per hour than typical low end singles sellers. In this thread I'm going to show you exactly how (even though I shouldn't and only a few people deserve this info). 👇

@gudstuffco @CardPurchaser The problem is the secondary market has shown that collectors would rather just have the card raw than have a 9. 9’s are common and to most people just aren’t worth paying a premium for. They want 10’s I don’t see this changing that attitude

Banging the drum for snaggin non-10 PSA slabs is going to start paying off now. When the price to grade a single card is half a MegaBox picking up a pre-graded card will hold more value. Days of PSA 9 < Raw cost are dwindling, imo @CardPurchaser

Every time I get tempted to list a $5 single to my eBay store, I remind myself that I would need to sell over 36,000 $5 singles at a 55% margin to profit $100k in a year. Then I put it in my "send to @CheckOutMyCards" tray.

@lukecombs Just buy the vintage cards you actually want. Buying vintage sealed is just too risky. It’s all changed hands many times and even if the person you bought it from though it was legit the 2nd person before them resealed it…

@SportsCardInv Really depends on the era and the player. Also do you mean “popular” or “valuable?” Someone like Ohtani feels pretty safe… someone like Drake Maye could easily see 70% collapses in the next 2 years. Mickey Mantle, Babe Ruth unlikely to fall in value much but not “popular”

@CarloSportsCard If you’re using the bag no need for tape. I highly suggest switching from top loaders to Card Saver 1 for envelopes. The USPS will reject a certain % of the top leaders for being too thick and it will create problems for you if you try and scale this to any real size of sales

@DavidKCalvert @Arkybill1 @psa Currently they do not know who’s cards they have that’s the point… in the scenario talked about here with local small stores offering same day grading?? Taking in local cards and getting them out same day?You don’t think the system is easy to abuse?

Going into $IREN earnings tomorrow here’s how I see it. This isn’t a hype setup. Most fast money already left. Attention is low, expectations are compressed, and the stock is trading on skepticism around hyperscaler capex not on IREN’s actual execution. For me, the numbers matter less than the signal. I want to hear one thing: is the $MSFT deployment on track and fully funded? If AI ramp, capex coverage, and margins are confirmed I think the stock works even in a weak tape. If there’s any hesitation on execution it’ll trade as a proxy for AI capex fear. This is a validation print, not a beat-and-cheer one.

@DavidKCalvert @Arkybill1 @psa Assuming the front desk attendant isn’t also in on the bribing, this doesn’t prevent “Ryan” from telling his best friend “Brad” that he is bringing in these exact 16 cards as a submission today so when he gets that sub you’ll know it’s mine. There would just be be rampant abuse

@Arkybill1 @psa You don’t see “Ryan” in Cincinnati asking his new Grader friend “Brad” to grade a bunch of Mickey Mantle cards as 4-5 when he cracked them from 2-3’s? For a bribe? Big money involved. The graders can’t know who is submitting the cards for integrity of the system

@Arkybill1 @psa That’s one location at a time and they can bring experienced graders with them.. Much different than hiring a bunch of guys in random towns/cities all over the country with no oversight, who are going to help their local buddies out..
