Eight month old baby girl is screaming in a restaurant. She continues to scream and a gentleman complains. The man says he has sensitive ears. Now, I know that the baby is young but I don’t believe that she should be allowed to go on screaming. When my children were loud, I took them outside to calm them down. But usually, I would just give a soft, “shhhh” and they calmed themselves. Over indulgent parents raised entitled, self absorbed children. Parenting should start early. This “too young,” thing doesn’t end for some parents. Eight months is old enough to start learning. Is the Mother right or is the angry patron right?
