Despite this cruelty, the dog is wagging its tail as it feels that the humans around it are happy !! Only an animal is capable of such kind of unconditional love and only a human is capable of such abuse !! A rabid dog not only bites a human but itself suffers a lot as well due to the disease, but a human can only make an animal suffer for its sadistic pleasure. Do you think that a human is great after this? Do you think that humans need protection from animals or the reverse? If you're still anthropocentric after this, then either you are a stubborn idiot or a devil incarnate ! Nothing in between.

COMPLAINT FILED TO RETRIEVE KADDU!! Rakhi, the primary complainant, along with Ms. Yogita Bhayana, Dr. Asher Jesudoss (from the Delhi Animal Welfare Board), and four other volunteers, met with the Investigating Officer (I.O.) and the Station House Officer (SHO) at the IGI Police Station. The following key demands were presented: 1. @DelhiAirportGMR and the contractor, JK Contract, must identify the staff involved and reveal Kaddu’s current whereabouts so she can be located, brought back immediately, and given proper medical examination. 2. CCTV footage from the MLCP Building (Terminal 3), along with footage from connected cameras, must be secured and thoroughly reviewed. 3. Clear information must be provided regarding the legal sections being applied, with reference to the ABC Rules 2023 and existing animal cruelty laws. The SHO has assured the following: 1. All relevant CCTV footage will be preserved and examined 2. The staff involved will be identified, questioned, and appropriate action will be taken as per the law 3. Efforts are underway to trace Kaddu and ensure her safe return at the earliest Regarding Brownie (Terminal 1): Brownie was picked up from Terminal 1, which falls under a different police jurisdiction, and will therefore be handled by a separate police team. #BringKadduBack #JusticeForAirportDogs @rashtrapatibhvn #saveindiedogs

Kaddu is a gentle, old, toothless dog who has called Delhi Airport home for 14 years. Since 26 March, she has been missing after being taken from the MLCP building by JK Sanitation workers, a @GMR_Airports vendor. For 9 days, @DelhiAirport has refused to share CCTV footage or tell people where Kaddu was taken. On what basis was this old, harmless dog removed? This looks like illegal relocation built on a false claim. Delhi folks please help in searching for our beloved Kaddu 🥹🙏🏻 I first saw Kaddu on 26th of March while changing the terminal to board a flight to Srinagar. She could barely walk and just moved a little to shift from the sun to a shady place. But on the 1st of April while I was returning to Kolkata from Srinagar via Delhi and was changing the terminal again, I couldn't see her! Chanchal did not die in isolation. She was painted for a PR stunt after years of forced rides, a grotesque reminder of how normalised cruelty against elephants has become. This is not just about one death. It is about a system that has failed. India’s wild elephant population has declined by nearly 25% since 2017 (from ~30,000 to ~22,446). At the same time, over 200 elephants have been killed by trains in the last decade, as highways, mining, and unchecked urbanisation continue to fragment elephant corridors and push them into conflict zones. And yet, Project Elephant, created to protect them in 1992, has been steadily weakened. Funding remained at just ₹30–35 crore annually, with only ₹16.36 crore spent in 2022–23. Its eventual merger with Project Tiger has further diluted focus and accountability. Meanwhile, captive elephants like Chanchal continue to be exploited for tourism, festivals, and PR spectacles in violation of basic welfare norms. Chanchal’s death must force urgent course correction: stronger enforcement, real funding, and a clear end to the everyday cruelty we have chosen to ignore. @byadavbjp @moefcc
