I have been eating nothing but McDonald's Happy Meals for 6 months straight. Yes, you read that correctly. Here's the math: Right now every McDonald's Happy Meal comes with a pack of McDonald's Pokemon cards. These are special promo cards you can only get inside a Happy Meal. A Happy Meal costs $5.99. The sealed McDonald's Pokemon card pack inside sells on eBay for $6.49. I buy the Happy Meal. I eat the food. I sell the cards. I make $0.50 and eat for free. I do this 15 times a day. I have not paid for food in 6 months. I make $7.50 a day for eating McDonald's. People can laugh but this is the greatest financial arbitrage on earth right now.

@ProctorZ The correct choice depends on what you predict other people will pick (including children, good but uneducated, and moral people), and that other like-minded intelligent people will make a similiar prediction. Red is right if most are literal-logical, or self-serving.

I'm late to the whole red & blue button thing but all I can say is that I cannot even grasp the mindset of people who seem to think pressing blue is the sane decision.

This is actually a good analogy and thinking they're pressing this red button is 99% of conservative politics.

@discordspies It's actually more like this. Since in the original dilemma the only action that puts your life in the risky side is pressing the blue bottom. In your image the red bottom does not really guarantee survival imao.

@discordspies The tricky part is the presentation changes how people will pick blue/red. There's a number of logically equivalent analogies but none of them are identical to the original because the format of the original impacts what people will pick.
