@ChuckCook @cybertruck @Tesla_AI Looks like you'll need to clean inside the windscreen. I wonder if the Cybertruck has the same problem the Model Y has with the inside of the windshield needing to be cleaned from time to time by service?

@ChuckCook @wholemars I hear ya chuck, fine line But tbh I definitely interrupt fsd way more than I should, is this their way of saying push it little more so we can find the true edge cases. To many false positives in the feedback loop I think it may actually be a sign of confidence

@g1b @wholemars Omar and I see eye to eye. He knows me and I know him. We are friends. We may promote different issues from our own perspectives.

@ChuckCook @wholemars It's ok chuck. I don't think I've ever seen Omar disagree with Tesla on anything. So don't take offence to his position

@wholemars I don't like a reward system that incentivizes supervising drivers to not disengage when necessary.

One comment re: your take on gamifying disengagements — I agree it doesn’t look great from a pure safety perspective. That said, I probably would have done the same thing in pursuit of better data. Here’s why: right now, people disengage FSD for all kinds of non-safety reasons — “it didn’t take the route I wanted,” “I wouldn’t have parked there,” “it’s going a bit slower than I would,” “it stopped at the stop sign when I wouldn’t have,” etc. The list is endless. If you want to surface real disengagements (the ones that actually matter for safety and progress), you have to incentivize drivers not to intervene for preference or impatience. There’s no way someone like David Moss could drive coast-to-coast across the US or Canada without a healthy dose of patience (for lack of a better word). I’m not trying to apologize for Tesla, but I get why they did it. That said — I was wrong. You’re right. In this case, gamification is promoting the wrong behavior.
