So I tried ASS for the first time today on my HW3 with FSD 12.5.4, with none other than @chuckcook. Turned out to be quite an adventure. Here's my uncut post. ASS had to deal with overcast conditions with light spurts of rain, lots of pedestrians, geese🦢, and more geese 🦢🦢. Recommend watching the whole thing. We covered a LOT!! Verdict: ASS is a profound glimpse into the future IMO. Vision of robot/human harmony and coexistence at it's best if you ask me. This was sooo much fun Chuck. Here’s a solid example of the lightning quick scan and response time that FSD is capable of. Going near 60 mph on this dark highway I could barely notice this pile of debris until I was right on top of it, but FSD saw it just in time and took appropriate evasive action avoiding what would have been a nasty hit at the very least. @Tesla_AI Edited with @CamCutApp

My FSD driving streak will remain low and I don't care. I know what the system can do, but I am a picky parker. I also don't travel too often. I don't think the FSD driving streak is necessarily a bad stat, just not one I am concerned with.

@JamesMungeam Yes but look how early FSD detects it and starts to move over. If you look closely, the vehicle in front starts to move away much later.

@OGMarsLife It’s done a great job, but note the human driver in front managed to pass it with no issue as well. So not a superhuman example, but a great example of how good the system is. Can’t wait for it to land in the UK.
