@towheretobegin can you elaborate as to what exactly made you come to this conclusion?

@SaltCx @om_patel5 2x usage for codex is light years more than Claude 2x.

@om_patel5 Codex has x2 limits til April 2nd so the same thing will happen there

saying "hello" to Claude on the Pro plan now costs 2% of your entire session usage
one message. "hello, how are you?" that's it.
this is why people are mass migrating to Codex right now because its literally impossible to reach limits
anthropic needs to fix this before they lose the crazy amount of developers they just gained

@om_patel5 Codex / OpenAI have given their stamp of approval for this, they helped create it. They want you to be able to use codex in Claude code.

THIS GUY MADE CLAUDE CODE AND CODEX TALK TO EACH OTHER
not by switching between them, they literally talk to each other about your code in real time
you give it a task. it spawns a Claude agent and a Codex agent in separate sessions.
they share findings, challenge each other, and produce a combined result.
he pointed them at an Express API with intentional security issues. within minutes they found SQL injection, hardcoded secrets, missing auth, and weak JWT config.
one catches something and the other confirms it and adds context. they divide the work on their own for faster speed
one command:
/collab "review auth.js for security issues"
that's it. you watch the conversation happen in real time.
AND its open source with new models being integrated
crazy to think that this was entirely vibe coded

Anthropic just pulled the oldest trick in SaaS pricing.
I pay $200/mo for Claude Max. My limits have been noticeably worse this past week.
Now they announce 2x off-peak usage for two weeks. Sounds generous.
But here’s what actually happens: limits quietly drop, a temporary 2x makes the reduced limit feel normal, the promo ends, and you’re left at a baseline lower than where you started. You just didn’t notice the downgrade because the 2x absorbed the transition.
These AI plans are massively subsidized. The raw compute behind a heavy user costs multiples of the subscription price. Every move like this is the subsidy quietly correcting.
Very sneaky, Anthropic.
Claude@claudeai
A small thank you to everyone using Claude: We’re doubling usage outside our peak hours for the next two weeks.

Nothing while 4o is in haitus. Working with other models from your competition. Your products are nothing but toys. Sure you've recently promised LTS for your current coding bot, but altman did for 4o too. I wouldnt do anything long term with OAI products. If you cant count on it then its a toy not a tool. Can't built workflows with toys. I used codex from its cli days and legit liked using it. Bring back 4o so I can come back to OAI please.

If you’re seeing a bunch of Japanese posts, here are some fun facts:
Japan has more daily active users and more time spent on X than any other country in the world.
Over two thirds of the country is monthly active on X.
X in Japan has one of the highest penetration rates of any social network in history.

It’s about to become a felony in Idaho for a trans person to use the restroom.
State prison for using the restroom. Let that sink in. These people have no limits.

Breaking News: Idaho criminalized using bathrooms, locker rooms or changing rooms, that do not correspond to a person’s sex at birth, including at private businesses. nyti.ms/4t7Nijz

Claude Code 2.1.86 has been released.
26 CLI changes, 5 system prompt changes
Highlights:
• Added X-Claude-Code-Session-Id header to requests so proxies can group sessions without parsing bodies
• Added debug-before-escalate rule: require on-call diagnosis/fix attempts before escalation to cut handoffs
• Removed requirement for Bash command descriptions, allowing concise command-only responses for easier parsing
