Fangirl moment hearing Baroness Shami Chakrabarti CBE speak this afternoon at @WelshLabour Women’s Conference - my MA dissertation in 2006 featured her work heavily - will be putting her new book on my 2024 reading list 🤓

It’s been really interesting and moving to hear a range of voices and experiences at @WelshLabour women’s conference this morning, providing a real opportunity to reflect on #WhiteRibbonDay and the responsibility we all have to help #ChangeTheStory

First session of #RUKFEW23 and really interesting to hear @WGClimateChange Minister calling for a ‘gold standard for community benefit’ and the need for a less individualistic and more national approach. Looking forward to discussing this issue more over the next few days..
