65k out of college?!🤣 Maybe my path was different, but I couldn’t get a job. Lived at mom’s. Got a GA position to get my master’s but had to take out loans for that. Then volunteer coach, unpaid internship, coached HS for $200/month, AAU for $500. 3 yrs later, first real job 42K

There was a series called “the cage” which was a 1v1 basketball event on espn.. but there’s no traces of it anywhere… it feels like the Mandela effect … Does anyone have a clue what I’m talking about

Lot of my game situations have caught a good algorithm lately. I hope people know it’s not thoughts or opinions, but actual things I’ve won/lost doing as head coach. Doesn’t mean it’s right. But before social media we learned on trial + error. Easier to access other coaches now🤝

@jjmaples55 I’ve watched the Lakers play for one half this season against the Blazers. With that being said I feel JJ might be better suited for coaching the college game.

Lakers have holes but 2 things kept hope alive for me this season 1) LeBron and Luka are too smart of players to not figure something out playing together for an entire season 2) JJ can really coach. Say what you want about his disposition and snarky quips, but he can.

🗣️ Young College Coaches! 💳 Dependent on your Universities business office, some schools have a travel card while other schools have you put travel expenses on your personal card and then reimburse you… 🤝 I’ve been a part of both situations and 10/10 times would go with personal card and reimbursements! I’m no expert in the travel hack and points space, but here is what I do: 1) I fly almost solely on @AmericanAir… so I have an AA Credit Card. Perks are that you can build up ‘miles’ for free flights and as your ‘status’ increases you get better seat options and about a third of my trips I get bumped to first class. All my expenses for trips go on this card so I earn extra ‘miles’ through these purchases. 2) National Rental Car is the most customer friendly experience. As long as you sign up for Emerald Club, upon arrival at your location you walk to the parking garage, get in a car and go. On top of that you can earn free rental car days as you go. 3) I’ve been consistent for years on staying at Marriott properties when possible. Their points don’t add up very fast and it takes quite a few nights to increase your membership ‘status’ each year. (If anyone has another preference I’m open to switching). I’m also considering getting a separate Marriott specific credit card to see if the points build up faster here, but I’m not sold on that decision either.
