@Commocore And now I talked about it 😄.
To compensate: I think I saw Fred from Scooby Doo on the wall today 😄

I just learned my posts here are not visible when not logged in. Even worse, it says I didn’t post any. Seriously? At the top you see 2,532. For all these clouds I like blue skies bsky.app/profile/commoc… but to be honest with you, I am slowly moving away from social media.

@Commocore Oh yes. One of these changes Elon made, showing his brilliant business sense.
It's from the time he thought he could win back some of his losses on Twitter.

The Amstrad CPC6128 edition of New York Warriors was released with both disk sides containing the first side, losing a whole side of levels! Lost for 36 years, author Fred Williams has kindly allowed Games That Weren't to release the lost full version:

A new week, and another recovered Amiga prototype today with Maximum Overdrive. A racing game based off the ShockWave engine and was used to obtain a few contracts. A nice technical demo that sadly didn't get too far and had plenty of promise.

@Goerp @benljbrooks Well, hope you'll find one day. I wish I have more time to finish this project. Queen shouldn't wait.
English

@Commocore @benljbrooks I always think with that screenshot ”why did you draw former Dutch queen Beatrix and what happened to her?"

@phasework Haha, sounds familiar. I am fixing Slaine for years. BTW. I preserve my cRPG copies & remove copy protection for fun. No worries though, I play Wizard's Crown in the 3rd episode of ?TOO MANY HOURS. The Eternal Dagger next. I may go back to ya once I decide to play this game.
English

@Commocore Dragon Wars. It's great, but I remember the sprites flickering in PAL. A fix is on my to do list, but since the list is almost as long as I'm slow – don't expect anything soon.
English

@exQUIZitely Well, currently I do buy oldschool cRPGs from 80s. So, not really missing these times. It's still happening! That's the season 3 of ?TOO MANY HOURS series. I currently play Wizard's Crown. And... 2 cRPGs in boxes arrived to me today \o/. youtu.be/M0d8K1TYLNg?si…

I miss physical games. The box, the artwork, the smell of the manual, the poster, the maps, the little bits and pieces, the discs. I know it’s more convenient to just press a button and download a game from Steam, but I stand by it: turning the page of a printed manual, pinning a poster of your favourite game to the wall, and having a cloth map next to you when venturing with your party into the unknown wilderness are what gave games so much more soul.
If that makes me sound like a dinosaur from a long-lost era, so be it. I’m glad I lived through those times. I miss them.
