2010-2019 purchase years New builds underperform the market by a significant amount, especially Leaseholds. Looking at actual property transactions that were completed in 2024 and reported to HM Land Registry. If you want to see a particular purchase year, let me know.

Anyone could argue there’s already a multi-tier leasehold system (with SoF, SO, RTM, RMC etc) so Commonhold for newbuilds with a simplified process for existing leaseholds to convert would be progressive it’s all about choice @CommonholdNow
