when you look at the minimum effective dosage compared to over-training - optimal training time for most adults (adults with kids / professionals) - is somewhere around an hour. 9-12 hard sets per muscle group possible twice a week. An hour is plenty of time to get this done if you aren't fucking around. Now I can totally see 2 hours in the gym if performance is your career or you're chasing performance goals like powerlifting - olympic weightlifting, etc but for someone who wants to look good, feel good, have gains, great body composition and is over 30....an hour is good.
