I guess nothing brings the Destiny community together quite like the end of development. All of a sudden, everyone’s out here organizing synchronized login days and signing petitions to show support. Where was all of this when the game actually needed it?

Agreed. We have a platform and we need to responsibly use that platform to pinpoint the actual source of why we aren’t getting any more Destiny. It’s not Marathon, it’s not the playerbase, it’s shareholders and the people we elected who put us in a bad socioeconomic situation

mostly it should be a great game to revisit occasionally. even though I’ve done 99% of the activities already, Destiny is comfort food, amidst thousands of new games every year.

great article. gear tiers, armor sets, and portal playlists/modifiers are hitting the mark they were aiming for 10 months ago.
I’m very excited for world exploration and events, with reprised loot. and I’m glad the dev team gets to release this final, fully realized vision.

@CoolRunnerCraig @PaulTassi @Forbes I honestly don't think anything releasing after Edge of Fate was going to move the needle at all. The Portal was so badly recieved and they didn't or couldn't do much to totally fix it. And you are right, it was bundled so why would they think Renegades would change things?
