@Spence0202 I’m a Wild fan and I think the Av’s are a better team but not by much. I just think home ice in this type of series is huge because you get to pick more of the matchups. If it goes how I think, it would be Av’s in 7…unfortunately for me

And now Minnesota is going to just clog up the neutral zone and play the most boring hockey you'll ever see. They're not going to give the lead up and the Avs left their motivation back in Denver. Game 5 it is.

Musk, worth $470 billion, plans to become a trillionaire by replacing workers with robots. Bezos, worth $256 billion, plans to replace 600,000 jobs with robots. Zuckerberg, worth $216 billion, laid off 17,000 workers. Billionaires aren't job creators. They're job destroyers.

@Cryptoboyy_Aji That $250K house at 3% appreciation is worth $607K in 30 years. You own it. The renter paid $540K in rent and owns the memory of living there. "Throwing money away" is literally the definition of renting.

the average US mortgage is $250,000 at 7% over 30 years. total repayment? $598,000. you borrow $250K and pay back $598K. $348,000 straight to the bank for nothing. then you pay to fix up the house. stuff breaks. you pay insurance monthly. property taxes every year. 3–6% in realtor fees when you sell. and we act like renting is throwing money away. there is a strong argument for renting.

@thesnck @Kiehle4Congress @skumWgmi You realize a lot of other bills exist right? And that wages haven’t come close to keeping up with expenses over the last 40 years. There is no moral defense of the American healthcare system.

This is a silly example to begin with. Obviously, $500 million is not a realistic number and not an honest attempt to have a real conversation about personal finances and budgeting. $400-500 a month, however, is doable. The average car payment, even for a used car is higher than that. Most Americans spend that much on eating out each month. Health insurance is going to be right up there on my priority list behind shelter, food, clothing, and utilities. If I can't afford it, I am downsizing or working harder. Being an adult is hard sometimes.

I called to cancel my health insurance because I couldn't afford the premium. The rep asked why. I said $480 a month for a plan with a $6,500 deductible isn't insurance. It's a monthly fee I pay to still go bankrupt if anything actually happens. She didn't have an answer.

@The_Uncontested I love how OKC’s only argument left is “yeah we play like dirty manipulative pieces of shit, but so do other people! So unfair that we get called out more! 😢”
