I still use both CEX’s and DEX’s to trade- but now is as good a time as any to remind you- you only want to keep minimal “active” funds on a CEX. Any of your core long term/spot holdings that you aren’t trading with daily should be moved off of your exchanges and into cold storage. You can also use leverage (the right way) to reduce the amount of capital you keep on exchange, thereby reducing counter party risk in the event of another FTX-like situation. Right now, the big corporations are paying peanut farmers $380 a ton for peanuts when we were getting $700 in the 80s, 1980s. It is damn ridiculous. It is a shame and something needs to be done about it. — Because corporate America wouldn't give us a price we deserve for our crops, so we just cut them out of the loop. They ain't no longer getting a piece. It's straight from me to you.”
