Today our 10th grade students and staff heard about the Connected Schools model and how it impacts and expands capacity for the whole school community. Healing centered practices, authentic community engagement, strong student support systems are just a few of the key elements we are practicing . This past week at Dunbar has been special. We've had many activities and partners invest in the wellbeing of our students. @Deloitte and @CollegeBoundInc spoke to our 9th grade academy for Impact Day. As we #redesign high school, we will continue to give our students new experiences with those who have been successful. The industry professionals and the current and newly graduate students discussed the current and future work climate, their own personal and professional journeys, and some best practices to being intentional about making life decisions. @dcpublicschools @DCPSconnected @XQAmerica Interested in providing opportunities like these to our students?
