I might be the only American left with this point of view, but soccer is a horribly boring sport with hardly any scoring. I'd rather watch tennis and I don't give a damn about the world cup. Baseball is exciting by comparison.

The lack of scoring in soccer is its appeal. Scarcity of something increases its value, which means when a goal is scored people lose their minds

Best sport with two nets on opposing sides is hockey hands down. I’d rather watch the Sharks go back to the dark ages than watch soccer
