I might be the only American left with this point of view, but soccer is a horribly boring sport with hardly any scoring. I'd rather watch tennis and I don't give a damn about the world cup. Baseball is exciting by comparison.

@FiredUpCoug Café Rio, Costa Vida, and Chipotle taste exactly the same to me. An over-salted, sugary meal for the American palate. You may as well be arguing between Olive Garden and Fazzoli's.

Why do people love Chipotle? It's not even in my personal top 5 for best fast casual Mexican.

Not one author in the Bible knew they were contributing to the Bible. None of them believed in a closed canon. How could they? Every word they wrote testified that the canon was open, that God can still speak to his children. The Bible is proof that the Bible can't be closed.

@xo_laurakay They make decent wages, they save. They're not in fear of a medical incident that will bankrupt them. I work in 11 countries in Latin America and most managers there have more disposable income at the end of the month than I do. And I make twice or three times what they make.

@KGrahamContent The point system is just too complicated for American football minds. They need a caveman win or lose, otherwise they can't understand it.

Another reason soccer is not popular here. Ties. They suck. In our country there is a winner and a loser. Why even have a game/match if no one wins?! And yes there are occasional ties in our NFL in the regular season and those suck as well.

About the absurd idea the Latter-Day Saints/Mormons are Christian: Army wife here. 21 moves in 32 years of my husband’s career. I am also former Roman Catholic until I married my husband 46 years ago. I will just name some of the churches in the U.S. and Europe that we attended and/or visited extensively: Catholic, Nazarene, Baptist, Pentecostal, Evangelical, Nondenominational, Army Chapel (which means essentially Protestant as the Catholics have their on on bases) etc. Not one ever had a Book of Mormon. Not one taught about Smith. They all taught about the Jesus Christ of the Bible and they all had a Bible, every single one, in every pew. In addition—in every single Christian bookstore all over the earth that I often frequented, not one single Book of Mormon is sold or any other LDS materials. Not one anywhere in America or Europe. LDS have to have their own Deseret bookstore because their church is not Christian. Their materials are not Christian. Catholics and Protestants are exceedingly different but we agree there is only One True God. LDS believe in countless gods and that they can become gods someday. @matthewdmarsden NBA playoffs average 19.6 million viewers. First day of FIFA World Cup was 6.9 million. On Fox Sports and FuboTV (ironically they didn't count the Spanish broadcast on Peacock). So, about 1/3 the viewership of the NBA finals. That's a significant amount.
