@Jade_shitpost @curryroux08 They did, they told Caine what they wanted, and he did listen to their ideas for a while, but then he stopped because he didn't like that he's not the one that comes up with the adventure. He had the chance to make it right but he sacrificed it for his ego.

A AI needs to be taught. They can even be broken inside of them due to messed up code.

He gives only because he wants validation, but he never tries to accommodate the cast. He mainly just forces them to do things they don't want and complains when they hate it. He doesn't give them agency.

@DARTHDIMMBOL @deliharrr There's so much more to be done in adventure than just an idea. The idea is only a fraction of an adventure; the rest is all up for Caine to decide, and there's so much creativity to be had in that department to. This is the least Caine can do to give the cast some agency.

The worst thing about Queenie's abstraction is Kinger blaming himself for months/years, not only for involving his wife in this mess, for his love not being enough to stop her from ending it all. And even with all his knowledge, there was nothing he could ever do to save her.

@borealstarlight @deliharrr He doesn't have to make it 100% himself. Even if the idea wasn't his, the adventure is still 99% made by himself. And if he can customize torture (based on what caused them most pain), I'm 100% sure he can customize adventure.

@DNAzfar1 @deliharrr Everyone tries to anthropomorphize caine and hold him to the standards of a normal moral agent he isn’t. He’s an AI, an emotionally complex one, but still just a tool with a goal of entertaining that he cannot by his nature breach from. He doesn’t know how to love like they do.
