A senior support manager at @Coinbase has written to the SENS Foundation, “Coinbase may begin to provide support for [the PulseChain network]” 🧾 “…[you’d] automatically receive these [pDAI] funds in your account” 🧾 ———— WHAT IT MEANS Millions of users could be onboarded to PulseChain—via accessing their airdropped tokens on Coinbase. THE CONTEXT In August 2021: $27,500,000 on ETH was donated by PulseChain sacrificers (before the fork existed) to Aubrey DeGrey’s longevity research at SENS. In May 2023: PulseChain launched—quickly becoming the most thriving fork of ETH. In Oct 2023: Several million dollars worth of the forked copy of DAI (300,000,000) was sent to Aubrey via SENS—but got trapped on Coinbase due to Coinbase’s lack of support for PulseChain (PLS). pDAI is the un-backed copy of the DAI stable-coin and currently trades for under a penny. pDAI has the loudest sub-community on 𝕏—who dream of it hitting $1 parity. pDAI is the first meme coin in the category of “speculative stable-coins”, a literally funny oxymoron capturing the spirit of crypto. News of the possible Coinbase network listing leaked tonight—as Mati Allin has recently started to put pressure on the longevity researchers to use their influence to get PLS supported by Coinbase. Mati runs the online @pulsechain and has worked in both research and clinical therapy. But SENS aren’t the only ones stuck waiting for Coinbase to support PulseChain. UniSwap, the largest DEX on ETH, re-listed HEX just this week. Other companies like MatchaXYZ have already followed suit. “I wouldn’t be surprised if @KrakenSupport and @BinanceUS take this news tonight as their cue that the race is on to see which top 3 CEX will support PulseChain first” said Mati Allin (who responded immediately because I wrote this post).
