We almost witnessed another Dustin Pedroia catastrophe in the WBC. Thank God Brice Turang fumbled this ball. Manny Machado almost took out another player on a spikes up hard slide past second base. Can’t say I’m shocked.

So of course the conf didn’t so well because they had tough matchups and then the narrative is the league sucks cuz they went 1-3 or whatever. Just reinforcing the big conf bias they create

As a Mountain West parting gift, SDSU is reminded exactly why we are getting the hell out of the Mountain West. Utah State gets a 9 seed and the “6th best” conference in the country gets a single bid.

@GoodZibes First one I think of is Flynn hitting a deep 3 to beat the buzzer vs SJSU in 2019. That preserved what ended up being their best season ever, which of course was cancelled before the tournament. May have been a 1 seed, def a 2 at worst.
