Brian Dutcher on coaching his last MW Tournament before heading to the Pac-12: “I might write a book on the Mountain West Tournament. I’ve been coming for 26 years. I've been here for the first one and this will be our last one. So hopefully we'll make it a memorable run.”

Asked Brian Dutcher about this being SDSU's final run in the Mountain West Tournament before going to the Pac-12. This was his response last night. 👇

“I feel like I’ve made an adjustment, but sometime with passing lane steals it’s like the Green Goblin mask…I can’t help myself but to try and go get them. I think I’m the most confident defender in the country. Any matchup I have I can personally stop anybody on that end.”

“Never once did Maalik come in my office and even mention the idea of transferring. Not once. He was a consistent leader all throughout the transition…he never wavered. Proud of him and excited for him to compete his tail off…that’s the program we’re building here at Oregon St”
