@DawssonMonroe @timmymckeegan But that is the point, a small offline app can easily be coded with almost any of the current agents. It gets interesting with the more complex stuff when have your own backend

@timmymckeegan It's not hate but 30 years of experience in software. I don't believe that two teenagers can pull of what big VC funded companies were not able to do. So either you are grifters or you are delusional. There is no way that you solved the one shot app builder problem.

Vercel got pwn’d. Here’s what I’ve managed to get from my sources: 1. Primary victim here is Vercel. Things like their Linear and GitHub got hit with majority of it 2. Env vars marked as sensitive are safe. Ones NOT marked as sensitive should be rolled out of precaution 3. The method of compromise was likely used to hit multiple companies other than Vercel. # of customers impacted is believed to be limited, but hard to know just yet. Will share more updates as I get them.

OTA updates, hot reload, expo ecosystem, massive library ecosystem, full type safety with the typescript backend if you choose to do so, far better for agents, single framework used for mobile web desktop, expo go, multiplatform so you can automate tests with android emulator on servers and avoid paying for a headless mac, etc. the list goes on but typically expo is the better choice

i genuinely don’t get it, why people choose expo over swift when they are building an app only for ios?
