Die größten Banken der Welt sind bullish auf Bitcoin. Sie setzen ETFs auf diese sind regelmäßig die erfolgreichsten ETFs in der Geschichte der Bank. Aber ja Sören, du weißt alles besser. Nachdem Bitcoin 17 Jahre lang jedes Asset dieser Welt outperformt hat, wird es einfach auf 0 gehen. 👍

Einer meiner großen finanziellen Ziele ist, essen zu können was und wo ich will. Ich glaube das würde mich nachhaltig glücklich machen. Von Sushi bis Steak. Egal was, egal wie viel. Für die meisten ist es eine Uhr oder ein teures Auto, für mich ist es qualitatives Essen. Und ich meine damit, dass ich nicht mal auf den Preis schauen muss, auch wenn das Steak 40€ kostet. Versteht ihr was ich meine?

Krasser Fact: Corona war im Nachhinein eines der besten Dinge, die mir persönlich passieren konnten. Während sich alle anderen maskiert haben, habe ich meine Maske abgesetzt. Genau diese Zeit hat bei mir etwas ausgelöst: Ich wollte nicht mehr mitlaufen. Ich wollte mich nicht mehr fügen. Und ich wollte mein Leben nicht länger nach etwas ausrichten, das sich für mich falsch anfühlt. Viele Entscheidungen, die mein Leben heute besser gemacht haben, hätte ich ohne diese Zeit wahrscheinlich nie getroffen. Geht es hier noch jemandem ähnlich?

I've seen far too much of this smug, sanctimonious, virtue-signaling lately. I'm a Bitcoiner... specially a Vegas Bitcoiner. A nobody in Bitcoin. I stack sats, run a node, run a meetup, and I'm heading to the conference this year like thousands of others. That doesn't make me "shitcoiner" or "tradfi grifter." It doesn't make me inferior. And it certainly doesn't justify the endless mental gymnastics and gatekeeping that's infecting our community. Many of you have lost the plot. Bitcoin was never meant to be a purity test or a social hierarchy where the loudest twatter accounts decide who's "in" and who's "out." Satoshi gifted the world "money for everyone" regardless of geographic location, status, or identity. He promised us decentralization. He promised us permissionless access and censorship resistance. He promised us a strict adherence to a predictable monetary policy. He promised us that we could have direct, exclusive control over our wealth. But you'd think he promised some of you a superiority complex for simply buying the asset. The arrogant behavior, the dismissive attitudes, the need for control, the "always right" preaching... I have no doubt he'd be embarassed in how a lot of you act. The same cypherpunk energy that gave us Bitcoin is being replaced by clout-chasing and performative superiority. If your version of Bitcoin requires looking down on others who don't meet your arbitrary bar, that's a YOU problem. Bitcoin doesn't care about your beliefs and opinions, your follower count or Interwebs street cred, or how early you got in. It cares about sound money, individual freedom, and voluntary participation. Come on, come fucking all. As for those of you knocking Las Vegas. You can dislike the Strip, but it is a purpose-built entertainment and convention ecosystem that caters to damn near everyone. For us that live here, we've got zero state income or capital gains tax, world class dining and entertainment, endless activities, hour flights to most of the southwest for even more optionality, a relatively LCOL, and 300+ days of sunshine. I've read your moody posts and have seen pix of a lot of you... trust me, many of you could use the sun. Finally, the conference is what you make of it -- whether it is in Vegas, Prague, or whatever town it's in. It's about finding some signal in the noise. It's about finding some alpha that you can't find hiding behind your keyboard. It's about reconnecting and spending time with the friends you've made along the way. Maybe some of you never understood the plot.
