@uneppen68 @NiallChristie1 But they want to leave! They voted to leave the party. Maybe it was genuinely a misunderstanding of what they were voting for - but if they want their own separate party all they have to do is leave and set it up.

@Deborah_PCP @NiallChristie1 Deborah, when answering critics of the Corbyn clique, have you ever considered contributing anything that isn't passive aggressive and/or in bad faith? Since you're a 100% Corbyn cultist I know the answer.

@gordonhudsonnu @NiallChristie1 The debate at conference was shallow and much too quick for such a huge decision. And so few people actually voting. We watched it online from Wales and it was sobering for us. We certainly learned from it.

@Deborah_PCP @NiallChristie1 I am waiting to see what happens next and will decide my own personal position based on what, and how well, London communicates with the members.

@gordonhudsonnu @NiallChristie1 If I was in London, I would honestly want to ask members 'Is that what you really meant? Do you want to leave?' It sounds to me like people genuinely didn't grasp the implications of the choice.

@gordonhudsonnu @NiallChristie1 I'm in Wales and watching this in dismay. There's no way we're voting to leave in Wales. We only just joined!

YP in London will not provide details of members. So we would have to set up up an entirely separate unrelated party, from scratch, which is not what we voted for or what was proposed. It would also mean there was still a national YP operating in Scotland. |Where are you coming from on this? Should I be a member of YP or not? People tell me I should leave because I wanot part of the Labour Party Corbyn project.

@Deborah_PCP I agree to some extent - they mostly speak to themselves, but unfortunately their spin does leak out to other members and the wider public, so I'm glad to see a balance to the GL negativity and false narratives.

@gordonhudsonnu @NiallChristie1 Yes. It involves leaving and setting up a new party. So leaving is the plan. Why not just do it, is my question.

@Deborah_PCP @NiallChristie1 The Scottish conference voted to become a separate party in the way that the Scottish Greens and the Green Party of England and Wales are separate parties.

@gordonhudsonnu @NiallChristie1 Are you in Scotland? Some Scots members voted to leave YP.

I am not part of any faction and I have been told to leave several times by people in the "many" faction because I was not a member of Labour under Corbyn and did not join the party as a tribute or support to him specifically. I got told very similar things by all three so it seems to be a generally agreed position.

@Cec_Or_Whatever @AnsellEade Obviously! We need branches, end of summer perhaps, later for us in Wales. CEC reps will lead but they're not superhuman. Things would be quicker without the needless friction. With anything new there are mistakes and delays and creating fights from that just slows it down more.

It was never likely that Your Party would stand candidates under its own banner. Most of the MPs and councillors affiliated with this electoral ‘party’ have wanted party registration and membership in support of an electoral ‘coalition’.

@Cec_Or_Whatever @AnsellEade Because you pay your subs to be a party member whether there are elections or not? The neofascist parties obviously don't bother with democratic process so they can do things on the fly. None of want that, I assume.

@Deborah_PCP @AnsellEade If it was always impossible to do normal things that other parties do (that even Restore Britain are doing in less time) all these months why didn't they say that and why have they been charging me money for that whole time

@Cec_Or_Whatever @AnsellEade I don't know - invent a time machine? Compress space time? I know it's an age of instant gratification but people really need to do better than this.

@Cec_Or_Whatever @AnsellEade The next step is establishment of branches. Then we develop policy and have a policy conference. We do non-election community work and build party recognition and presence. We need people to think harder, do better.

@Cec_Or_Whatever @AnsellEade People have feelings and get angry but that doesn't mean they're right. It takes time to do things properly. And conspiracy talk about "them" - come on, do better!

@Deborah_PCP @AnsellEade Well, they didn't say that last summer. I don't agree that it takes this long to figure out how to stand candidates and neither do many members. They didn't want branches before the CEC elections in case it hindered them, they don't want branches before these elections.

@Cec_Or_Whatever @AnsellEade None of us have branches yet. You can't stand in elections without branches. It was completely obvious from last summer that we would never be ready in time for Senedd, Holyrood or the locals. We need people who can think strategically and calmly, not this pointless scrapping.

@Deborah_PCP @AnsellEade They also have a Scotland rep on the CEC, you accept that. He has not been allowed to bring these proposals to them. They refuse to hear them, they refuse to vote on them. They're not being allowed to build any foundations! They've been delayed for months, people are furious.
