After a couple weeks of @aave borrow rates exceeding native $sAVAX yield which was dragging down vault yield, borrow rates have normalised and the vault has been repositioning itself, which means aiAVAX yields are looking good again 💪🔺

Can't buy crypto, as it looks fcked. Can't buy metals, as they look toppy. Can't buy stocks, as they look weak. Can't do trading as manipulators will liquidate. Can't take jobs, as companies are firing, not hiring. What should I do?

@JustnThePhotog At this point, it’s frustrating. I can barely point to any builders AVAX has funded who are truly helping move the chain forward. Right now, only @TheArena feels genuinely deserving of major backing. If Arena wasn’t here, what would really be left on AVAX?

Avax is for builders
Emperor Osmo 🐂 🎯@Flowslikeosmo

After reading this, it's quite obvious that the decisions made by @AvaLabs and @AvalancheFDN have led to a collapse of the ecosystem. - Poor comms leading to wasted technical resources - Misaligned incentives - A lack of support for strong builders - Funding decisions towards questionable people - Lack of transparency about key eco changes - Technical pivots misaligning capital incentives for builders and community leaders - Underperformance leading to a lack of VC/Seed interest - Lack of community alignment towards investments made by the ecosystem This looks quite bad and confirms most of what the community has been stating for months.

@Funkmaster_anon Yes, this goes for any project turning off transparency the moment it's needed most. Can't find myself in this being Ava Labs (with regards to us they have always been very transparent), but censoring the slightest "FUD" is definitely not something new in this space.

@DeltaPrimeDefi Agree with this take. It’s a bad to turn off comments and not take any questions after publishing what they just did. The issue most have with Avalabs is exactly the point that they are not transparent and engaging with those that don’t agree. Now these guys do the same!

Hot take: FUD does not exist. Projects that censor their users; turn off comments on difficult tweets and ban users who ask questions do not belong in web3. This is our commitment to never become that project. Also, if you do have critical questions for us. Join our AMAs! We've had several the past few weeks and will have several more in the weeks to come. We mean it, anything goes, you're invited🫡

COLONY 🔺
COLONY 🔺@Colonylab·
After 5 years building and supporting the @avax ecosystem exclusively, today we are announcing the closure of Colony because the ecosystem evolved in ways that no longer allow us to pursue our mission with conviction. This was not an easy decision, especially after 5 years committing our full focus, resources, and energy to Avalanche, its projects, its vision, and its community across multiple market cycles. But it is time to close this chapter. Before stepping away, we believe it is important to be transparent about our experience operating within the Avalanche ecosystem over the past several years. The full statement, including how the building environment changed materially, the structural challenges we faced, everything we built and delivered during that time, and the wind-down process and timeline, is in the article below: @Colonylab/the-end-of-the-road-ef0af614a47d" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener">medium.com/@Colonylab/the… As part of the wind-down: • Liquidity remains untouched • Community funds remain accessible • The team’s CLY token allocation was never sold nor staked – 5 years community alignment • Final distributions will be made to CLY stakers

For one part because of copypasta🤷🏽‍♂️ For another part because institutions choose Avalanche. “The market” for a large part consists of retail looking to get rich quick, the high volatility is a direct reflection of where the current hot thing is. Even though getting rich is a great byproduct, and well deserved for those who take a financial risks that benefits the ecosystem, the point of DeFi isn’t to make people rich. It’s to create the foundational layer on which more valuable products can be built (valuable here meaning: you want to pay for it for a reason other than expected future financial returns). As more institutions onboard (or even create their own L1s) Avalanche becomes that foundational layer necessary to create a “valuable” web3 ecosystem. Other chains don’t provide the flexibility these institutions need, which is why they choose Avalanche, and why Avalanche is really cool.

Last night we were hosted by @Cointelegraph's Chain Reaction. We covered the effect of nation-state directed web3 hacks, as well as our security since 2024. Thank you @gazza_jenks and @rkbaggs for the incredible conversation.

How does a DeFi platform not only survive but improve after being hacked by the Lazarus group... twice?! @gazza_jenks and I have a fantastic chat with @DeltaPrimeDefi to explore hacks, security, and growth. x.com/i/broadcasts/1…

This year on Consensus HK two narratives took the spotlight: 📈Prediction markets and RWAs🥇 Introducing tokenized RWAs into DeltaPrime is a piece of cake, these fit our modular structure as any other token in the platform. Now, with recent key innovations in the prediction markets (specifically continuous prediction markets) we can also bring safe leverage to this niche. Allowing you to do more, with less. Welcome to 2026, the Year of the Horse🏇☄️
