He had values that they could not stand, but he was too good at his craft and too big a star for them to cancel him altogether. They hated him because he did not fear them. He was one of the greatest actors of all time, up there with Hackman. The first scene I ever did in a movie was in Days of Thunder, and it was with Duvall. That's one hell of a way to start. He was one of one.

What he doesn't highlight are the other breeds shown, like the Labrador-like dog, a Rottweiler mix, and small mixed-breed dogs. While pit bulls are often linked to the most severe incidents (accounting for about 22-29% of reported bites ex. California data), popular breeds like Labrador Retrievers appear in non-fatal bite stats more frequently in pediatric cases (13.7% vs. Rottweilers at 4.9%, 2013 NIH study on facial bites). Mixed breeds top many lists at 23%, showing it's more about individual dogs and owners than breed alone. But yeah, pointing out pit bulls for clicks ignores the bigger picture, though it sure boosts that click rate. I agree, nobody should be chased down just for riding their bike, but if a dog is running up without actually coming in to bite you like many shown in your video, the spray feels excessive and comes off like you're just enjoying it a bit much, especially since you loop back by the same houses for a second round and looking at the full catalog of videos you stuck around for quite some time to get those shots. You were trying to record a video more than get a bike ride in. If people can't see the issue with that, then our society is worse off than many think. The owners of these dogs need to fix their side of this problem before something bad happens I agree, but you're not so righteous in your attempt. How about doing a little research before attacking a specific breed? How about not instigating these dogs purposely for the sake of recording a video. You're the one who looks like a bully here.
