@MandoNevarro @AnishA_Moonka different electronic densities and polarizability causes the different sensations. at the end of the day, its electron/ electron interactions, some are more rigid (like hard materials) and the repulsive force is different than say something that is more fluid like liquids

@AnishA_Moonka Then every touch should feel the same if it was that way. How do you explain the sensation then? If we really don't touch each other why we feel textures?🤷🏻‍♂️

You’ve never touched anything in your life. Not your phone. Not your morning coffee. Not the person you love. Every atom in your body is 99.9999999999999% empty space. If the core of an atom were the size of a marble, the nearest electron would be all the way out in the parking lot of a football stadium. Everything in between is empty. We’ve known this since 1911. A physicist named Ernest Rutherford fired tiny particles at a sheet of gold foil expecting them all to pass right through. Most did. But about 1 in 8,000 bounced straight back at him. He said it was like firing a cannon at tissue paper and having the shell come back and hit you. That one result proved every atom is almost entirely void, with all its weight crammed into a core 100,000 times smaller than the atom itself. So when you sit in a chair, you’re not actually sitting on it. The electrons in your body are pushing against the electrons in the chair. Same force that makes two magnets resist each other when you flip one around. You’re floating above the surface, separated by a gap about 10,000 times thinner than a sheet of paper. Every handshake is two invisible clouds of electrons pressing against each other without ever merging. Remove all that empty space from every atom in every human on Earth, and 8 billion people compress down to a single sugar cube. It would weigh billions of tons and fall straight through the floor, through the crust, all the way to the center of the Earth. Same density as a neutron star. But the tweet gets one thing a little wrong. Whether atoms “touch” depends on how you define touch. Philip Moriarty, a physicist at the University of Nottingham who literally pushes individual atoms around with a needle for a living, says contact does happen at the atomic level. It’s the point where the pull between atoms balances the push. And when you eat food, your body breaks those molecules apart and chemically bonds with them, atoms merging across boundaries. That’s real contact. So what you feel when you hold someone’s hand isn’t skin on skin. It’s the same force that holds together every molecule in every star, pressing your electrons against theirs. You’ve never made contact the way your brain pictures it. What’s actually happening is stranger and honestly way cooler.

Quantum physics says that you can never actually touch anything.

@markminervini i also like to look for lows made during RTH and not illiquid sessions. so far every low made during globex has been revisited and broken except last sundays.

The market's character is still one of a bear market or cyclical correction; strong open, fade into close and major average living below the 200-day line. Before a reliable bottom can be established, we need to see better price and volume action, including better action from breakout names forming bases. We are clearly NOT out of the woods yet. The market backdrop is one where sentiment has improved with rising pessimism, but not a full capitulation. The VIX has reached bear warning levels, but remains below true washout extremes. A volatility washout is not required for a bottom, but would add conviction. Bullish Scenario --The war ends --Oil prices recede --Stagflation concerns ease --Central banks continuing their easing trajectory Under this scenario, we would expect: -A broadening market advance -Emergence of new leadership from sound bases -A Follow-Through Day (FTD) on the NYSE and/or NASDAQ confirming institutional buying with little in the way of immediate distribution -Significant drop in volatility Bearish Scenario --The war persists or escalates --The Strait of Hormuz remains disrupted --Oil prices make new highs --Stagflation becomes evident in hard economic data This would likely result in: -Limited general market rally attempts with most breakout stocks failing -Lack of follow-through from breakout names -Further deterioration in breadth and leadership -Dearth of setups in buyable position -Continued elevated volatility and distribution In that case, sentiment would likely need to reach higher levels of pessimism before a durable market bottom could form. In its absence, and end to the factors that are pressuring the market could cause the market to bottom in less dramatic fashion.

This might be the most suicidal idiotic take I have seen. Minorities wouldn’t want to come here en masse that badly if they were treated badly. Not wanting to become a minority is simply about culture and heritage and preserving what makes the country attractive to come to in the first place. It’s people.

🚨 Muslim man: “Please stop eating… I can smell that. I’m fasting for Ramadan. Do you mind not eating?” Woman: “I’m eating my lunch. That’s your problem.” Muslim man: “But I’m fasting… it’s Ramadan…” Woman: “F off. If you don’t want to see someone eating, stay at home.” Your thoughts ?

@ResistWeMuch2 @ItsRiverShane @JamesHu27192912 Yes. as a muslim i know hundreds of them (probably closer to 500). you dont have to speak to everyone on the subject - youre being dense and obtuse. you can infer by the way they carry their behavior and practice their religion that they would not do this kind of crap.

We have choppy environment and selling option spread such as Bull put spread is a good strategy. You collect credit. Example below $ES_F 0TDE 6550P/6540P with credit of $50. Max risk $450 if ES_F close below 6540. CMP is 6650 Risk mitigation is to have small position size. Though it is high probability win, headline driven market can go down big also. Also one should close the positions if profit comes in 40 to 50% instead of waiting by close of the market. This is how pros earn money daily by leveraging 0DTEs.

@ResistWeMuch2 @ItsRiverShane @JamesHu27192912 these are extreme outliers. i know hundreds of muslims that would never think of doing this, and would speak openly against it. there are millions of muslims in the u.s. and the vast vast majority just want to practice their faith in peace and to be treated fairly.

@ppjose357 @Rothmus same. we make about 300k and we never use these services. we barely eat out because of how expensive it is. we spend maybe 300$ a month on groceries. i know coworkers who make significantly less than us spend that amount on a weekly basis. its insane.

@ItsRiverShane @JamesHu27192912 Not really sure what youre asking. If i saw another muslim demanding someone else to participate i would speak against it. in no way is anyone required to participate. no one should be expected to change their behavior to accommodate us. just treat each other with respect.

@TheDreamProfit @JamesHu27192912 yeah, i agree. its ragebait for dumb racists. muslims observe ramadan in silence. its a very personal and spiritual journey. ive never once even talked about fasting to my non-muslim friends unless they bring it up.

I doubt this is even true. I’ve got Muslim friends who observe Ramadan and run a bodega near me in the Bronx. Every morning I go in, order a breakfast sandwich and a drink, they cook it, take my money, and watch me eat without a single complaint or request. Been that way for years.

@ItsRiverShane @JamesHu27192912 its a personal journey and focuses on empathy for those less fortunate. its a sacrifice we make to understand the hardships of those around us. we do the journey in silence and without expectation from others to understand or participate.

@JamesHu27192912 Isn't the point of them fasting for spiritual discipline and obedience to their god? If the smell of a cheeseburger makes you waver in your commitment to your deity, you've got bigger things to worry about than some non-muslim woman having lunch.

@MEnative1967 @JamesHu27192912 Shut the fuck up. muslims do not expect others to participate in Ramadan. Its a personal journey, and ive never in my 42 years encountered this kind of interaction. if it even occurred, its an extreme outlier.

Everyone's staring at the powerful move this morning but almost nobody is looking at why it's happening. $SPX has been under the gamma flip line and this is textbook behavior when that happens. The volatility, the chop, the shakeouts, none of this is random. I scaled into a S&P 500 position Friday because I could see the setup forming for a bounce. I sold some into this morning's pop, then used my $TICK indicator to scalp a few points off MNQ when it printed a -1000 extreme reading a few times today. If you want this tool and a breakdown of what it is, its in the thread below.

In 2025 I turned $2,500 into $80,000 in prop firm payouts using extreme $NYSE $TICK readings. In this thread I'm giving you the indicators I built for both ThinkOrSwim and TradingView, plus the video breakdown of how I use them. (thread)
