I started editing in late 2018 while in college and my first client was @SB_737 . I've been editing for SB for 4 years and saw his channel grow from 300k to 3 million. I received this gift from SB this morning and was blown away. Just want to say thanks to all my clients (1/2)

@N0VACIA @ActualAero Yeah but they different games, one is semi realism and one is stylized. One has one playable character, ff7 has over 5. I get what ur saying but from tech/dev stand point it would be too much for one game, it would take longer than if u split it up.

@DezEditsStuff @ActualAero I'm not saying this was a cash grab, as the game was well done. However, I think they realize how popular the name FF7 is and wanted to get some extra money off of it, is all I'm saying.

The Zelda Ocarina of Time remake leak is gonna be the perfect opportunity for me to explain in a video about how this type of remake ONLY works for Final Fantasy 7 and we will never see another one like it for any other game — it’s literally not possible

@N0VACIA @ActualAero With how they were doing it no way. If they were doing it like expedition big maybe. But even then think of all the systems, especially in the third one, going into space, underwater, etc. there’s way too much. From a game dev perspective it’s a nightmare

@DezEditsStuff @ActualAero Took about 3 to 3 and a half years, yes. However, then you factor in Rebirth and then the 3rd part, it's still around 9/10 years total to get them all out. They could have still put them all into one part.

@N0VACIA @ActualAero They restarted though it wasn’t just from 2014. They scrapped cyber tech’s version and started again with unreal engine. Meaning they only really did remake 1 in 3 or something years

@ActualAero Keep in mind, Red Dead Redemption 2, a huge sprawling open world game with details such as NPCs eating their own food took like 8 years to make. FFVII's attention to such detail is dialed way down. I think they could have done it :p. Sorry for the rant lol.

@mrpyo1 its not that "Showed not all games need unreal engine 5", some studios use unreal engine because its readily available, Engines take a lot of time and money to make and sometimes don't work aswell as hoped e.g. square enix. re engine has been improved upon for ages.

What Resident Evil Requiem accomplished this weekend: - Launched a incredible polished game - Showed not all games need unreal engine 5 - Showed we don't need a PS6 next year with the insane optimization - Physical copies sold out worldwide mostly (i'm affected too - pre ordered in jan...) - Very likely it will be the fastest selling RE game yet - Amazing user scores on psn and steam and critic scores - Showed how strong single player gaming really is in 2026 Capcom really showed us they are a high contender for the best publisher in the business today (at least #1 3rd party wise)

@CohhCarnage I purposely went around the whole hospital as Leon just to kill all the enemies that gave me trouble as Grace. It felt so good just taking them out with ease meanwhile as Grace I was tiptoeing around them xD

This is such a great part of Resident Evil Requiem. Frantic, afraid, and scary with Grace. A palpable feeling of anxiety and nervousness. Leon? Cracking Dad jokes. He's seen it all before. Blasting fools and kicking ass. And they both WORK. Such a great call by the devs.

@rockstationonx nah it will be capped 30 fps I think. 60fps isnt polish, if they wanted 60fps it would of have to been from beginning of development, polish is making sure everything is working correctly, adding extra details, etc. No chance thats what polishing means xD

@_subtxt_ It didnt make sense for them to push multiplatform and then announce it at a PlayStation event. Saying that though, I did have a little bit hope that we would see a title reveal xD

@Nightalize I knew that it was gonna not be shown, they have really pushed out the fact that its going to be multiplatform, so it doesn't make sense to show it at a PlayStation event, summer games fest makes more sense! still would of been cool though

@aitaikimochi As much as I want a reveal, I think it will be saved for summer games fest as they want to really drive home that its multiplatform and showing it on a SOP goes the opposite direction. But, im hoping just for even a logo and name drop xD please give us something!!

@mrpyo1 I like these cheats in games because for accessibility. Some people who want to 100% a game and get platinum can't for some reasons whether it be accessibility or time issues. Now they can!

Do you think it's ok to kind of "cheat" and get trophies? On the other hand so many games are 1min Platinum shovelware slops anyways on the PS store...

@CattailXC Thought it was going to be a remake so may aswell play that version. Then found out it’s a sequel so going back to play original. I don’t mind tbh means the story continues after I finish OG. I know a lot of spoils already and I’m a fan of it being a sequel personally.

The thought of anyone playing FF7 remake before the original is so baffling to me. I honestly can’t comprehend the decision to do that
