💯💯I'm so tired of hearing about Israel's " PR problem"🙄🙄 All that energy spent trying to convince people who won't listen could be better used on our own growth...communities...ect. Let's focus on each other, our culture, and staying strong. People will obsess... Let them spin whatever stories they want. We'll just keep living.

My comments to the @JNS_org Policy conference: Perhaps it is not our job to win a PR war. It is not the job of the Jewish people to convince the world to love us. And it is certainly not our job to seek permission to exist. The modern State of Israel exists because David Ben-Gurion refused to ask permission. Jewish survival never depended on approval, and it shouldn’t now.

This is inappropriate Ashok. The media reported “A Tesla crashed into a house killing a woman, driver SAID he was on Autopilot.” That’s the truth. He said it. And you just confirmed that the car was “self-driving” and that the driver overrode it. The fact that the driver pressed the accelerator while on Autopilot doesn’t negate the accuracy of the reporting prior to you releasing the logs. Or rather your interpretation of the logs.

This blatantly irresponsible reporting does more harm to people than they realize. Using Tesla self-driving is far safer than manual driving, and this was measured over 10B miles. Planting such FUD in the minds of general public, who might not know the all the facts, might prevent them from using this technology that makes them safer.

INTERESTING FACT: Australia was formed with Christian values at its core. There is no mention of “Judeo-Christian” in parliamentary records until the 35th parliament, where it first appeared as a petition. It wouldn’t be until after 9/11 occurred, that it was thrust into “mainstream” in 2001 (America) and then 2004 (Australia). The statement that Australia is a “Judeo-Christian Nation” is manufactured. That’s not to say that prominent Jewish people weren’t part of Australia’s early years - the fact is, Australia’s foundation and laws were drawn from British Law, Magna Carta and CHRISTIAN practices.

Tesla has just officially confirmed that the driver of the Model 3 that crashed into a home in Texas manually overrode the vehicle's self-driving system by pressing the accelerator pedal. The vehicle struck the home at 73 mph. A lot of mainstream media wrongly mislead people into thinking that it was the vehicles fault. Case closed.
