The site is now TEMPORARILY available to allow for old reports to be downloaded. It will go offline again on Dec 10th 2023, so backup your reports asap!

@KChristensenIA No. The stats are saved on the server where box scores are calculated once all reports are combined from all devices/sources— no server, no box score. 😢

@DigitalScout Will the app still function on the local device without connection to the server?

To clarify, the servers will go offline Aug 20, 2023. Though we will bring them up temporarily for a few weeks at the end of Nov for the 🏀 & 🏐 coaches who may have missed the announcement and need to grab their report backups.

@DigitalScout Any suggestions on a replacement product? Yours was leaps and bounds better than others.

@RacineRaiders For high school teams, correct. There will be no 2023-24 season to use for scheduling the game in the system.

@DigitalScout Major bummer. You folks were tremendous. For clarification, when is the last day to use the service to actually stat a game? We're entering our playoffs. Do we need to find a new solution by Saturday? Any recommendations for other services? Thanks!

The effective reports have been rebuilt and are once again available. Contact support@digitalscout.com if you have any further issues tonight.

One of the stats engine servers is having a hiccup tonight. Data is all still safe, but it has to rebuild some box scores and stats. Don't be afraid if you're box scores show 0-0 for a few hours while the reports recover.

@ChrisYow14 Any account may register as many "Rec" teams as they want. They are only tied to that account, and not part of the public search or US high school lists at Digital Scout. But they still track stats and have public links you can share out on your own.

@DigitalScout With what login? That would be awesome.

Would be awesome if @DigitalScout would create a media version where we can keep stats for any game we are covering. Any chance that could happen for 2023?

@ChrisBrown_AL @RobertLCarter @EASportstoday1 @ChrisYow14 There are cases where we allow non-school officials to enter results for multiple teams. Contact support@digitalscout.com if you want to enter full stats for most of one or more team schedules for teams not already using Digital Scout.

@RobertLCarter @EASportstoday1 @ChrisYow14 @DigitalScout I actually got them to let me do that when I worked at The Star. I gave DS a list of each school I’d be covering and they gave me access and I’d go in and add their rosters and schedule. That’s how I kept stats for four years.

Coaches & statisticians: We'll add the high school 2022-23 season to the system in a few weeks— usually about mid-April. You may enter next year's schedule after that. We'll post back here then.

@DigitalScout what year did you guys start up? I think I've kept stats for around 15 years with you guys. At first it was a computer program prior to apps being a thing.
