Last week, few old mongooses calling themselves Youths for Ruto were on the streets, saying they were marching to show solidarity for Ruto’s re-election. They were shouting TUTAM while wearing yellow-branded merchandise. I hope the youths from the opposition will also be allowed to demonstrate this week to show solidarity with the opposition while singing WANTAM. They will be carrying Kenyan flags, and they expect to be given tight security.
