When switching to a new phone & installing the Linkedin app it seems to have reset all my notifications to FULL BLAST so I just went through this. You have to go to linkedin.com/mypreferences/… and turn everything OFF. Then go to linkedin.com/mypreferences/… and specifically only turn on in-app notifications for comments (so it only shows on the web UI or App). I turned off all push notifications. That calmed it down to just things I actually have to respond to.

Has anyone found a way to configure LinkedIn notifications so that they actually display people's interactions with _you_? My notifications are all marketing of other people's posts & stats on how many searches I appeared in, whereas all I actually care about is human engagement. Honestly, it is incredible to me that their Signal to Noise ratio seems to be 98% Noise... How do you even get this far off track?
