@fornatron @Mast3rChief_117 @Anaya_sharma876 You arguments show just how brainwashed the sheeple are. Those example are NOT a GNU/Linux problem, they are support problem. Adobe CHOOSES to not support GNU/Linux because YOU choose to keep the status quo.

Ok where do I begin. - install photoshop: oh wait you can’t… unless you use wine which is jank. - install adobe premiere: oops you can’t! But you CAN use Davinci Resolve… but with 1/10th the plugins IF that. - sure a lot of steam games work via proton. But a ton have RANDOM issues or performance problems - not to mention the fact that some anti cheats don’t run on Linux, therefore you can’t play the game at all. - OBS Studio runs like 💩 on Linux because Linux GPU drivers don’t utilize the best encoders. Basically if you do anything more than use web apps or browse or do documents … Linux ain’t it.

Genuine question: If Linux is so good… why do most people still use Windows?

@kanifeli @Anaya_sharma876 Is it because GNU/Linux is open sourced or because devs and hardware makers don't WANT to support GNU/Linux? If you switch, they will come. Corps are all about the $$, and when they see losses as consumers shift, they will start supporting. Remember Apple before they were cool?

Many programs were not made to work on Linux Natively. Mostly because Linux is open sourced. This means those who use linux have had to build recreations of those softwares that may be better or worse than the original. For many people it is easier to stick with windows because stuff is what they expect there and they do not have to worry about if they can or cannot do something.
