It’s kinda sad this game is getting poked fun at cause PlayStation would benefit a lot from more games like this Smaller scale projects with conservative budgets is what a lot of companies need right now instead of $300 million for countable nose hairs

@Septic_Sauce Like Jaffe says, it's a rally well made game, but it's dull and overall disappointing. I thought we were getting like a next gen Metroidvania like that Prince of Persia with oldskool kratos. All this did is make me wanna play Hollow Knight 😂

@Vega99923 Come up with a interesting plot where we kill gods as Kratos that takes place after Ragnarok, without undoing the Norse saga character development. I have yet to find a good story, and not "grown up adult son got bullied and dad has to help him".

God of War wrote itself into a corner with Ragnarok. God of War Trilogy Remake will most likely make narrative changes to connect an Egypt game which will be set after the events of God of War 3. Just a feeling.

@mwdavis77 @pushsquare Honestly I'm a huge GOW fan I like Jaffe says, this is a really well made game. But its just, Dull. It made me want to go and play Hollow Knight 😂. I was excited for the 2D Metroidvania but I thought we were getting old Kratos with the style of Belmont's Curse

@pushsquare I'm only 1 hour into the game and I kind of agree with part of what he's saying. I'm not sure the game is crap, but it doesn't feel like a GoW game. I want ultra violence, blood, etc. in my GoW games.

Having third party games announce coming to the system is good and all but we are here mostly for the exclusivity.

PlayStation just pulled off the greatest gaming conference of the last 5 years Insane announcements, perfectly paced, nearly no fillers just banger after banger, culminating in a God of War Trilogy REMAKE and shadowdrop of a new GoW game 10/10 State of Play, I am so happy.

@TheBigPlume I don't really buy PlayStation for PlayStation Only games, I buy it to play everything.

Good state of play but man PlayStation has done a great job at conditioning gamers to expect basically nothing from their first party studios
