The Jews are still God’s chosen people. The issue is that most Christians have not read their Bible and do not understand the context of “chosen.” They are not superior to gentiles, and yes, the Jewish people today are a nation without Christ, but they are vital to God’s eternal plan and restoration. Jesus will return to the Jews in Jerusalem and restore them. His promises are irrevocable and if his promises to the Jewish people cease to exist, so too will his creation. If this promise expires, how can we be assured that his promises to us also will not expire? The body of Christ is the new Israel, yes. But God’s promise to the Jews still stands. We as Christians should pray for the salvation of the Jews, this is what Christ calls us to do, and He will have the ultimate say. To anyone who may disagree, I would be more than happy to try to set up a debate space to cover the topic. I deal in scripture.

If I was ever the CEO of some minority demographic and had significant clout and resources to promote its best interests, I would follow a playbook based on internal discipline and merit rather than trying to persuade the majority population to give us special privileges. In fact, I would fight like hell against receiving any special treatment. "Why?" you might ask. Because I understand human nature. Human nature responds predictably to incentives and mindsets. Character is destiny for the individual and culture is destiny for the demographic. Some values and beliefs are a ladder and others are a pit. Convince a demographic to adopt a victim and resentment based mindset, one that looks to the past and not the future, tell them they are entitled to special treatment, free stuff, and that merit and accountability are oppression, and you will damage them immeasurably. To be blunt, over the next two or three generations, you will fuck them up real bad. As a group, they will become more delusional, degenerate, and dysfunctional. And, since you cannot have oppressed without oppressors, those that you convince to assume the role of oppressors to validate your need for special care will also get messed up, becoming mired in guilt and self loathing. It will be a really toxic relationship and the collective mental health of our society will take a serious hit. Welcome to America in the 2020s. About 40% of the population is out to lunch. This is just nonsense, only God is vital to his own plan, evidenced in the number of times he allowed his so-called chosen people to be invaded and dispersed time and time again. However, the Israelites are both the descendants of Jacob and the spiritual body of the church of Jesus Christ, hence we are all chosen even the Jews and the Gentiles, who have given their lives to God as their Lord and Creator. I do agree that we need to pray for Israel for salvation and this unhealthy need for constant battle.
