@Moorman1 4b range vs your 3b obv looks nothing like that in real life (far far tighter).. it's very interesting though. 10k field is different animal sure, but 4b spots even there are underbluffed on FT

@FarazJaka against vast majority of villains, turn bet is a torch. against solid stingy recs who will float flop with their non-pairs, it's fine. but checking vs most humans is surely better

Most people focus on the river… But the real decision in this poker hand is the turn with pocket 8s. Bet for protection/value or check to bluff catch later? What’s your play here? 👇

If there was one fan base that had the most reason to feel cheated due to injuries in a SPECIFIC season, which team and season is it?

We just found a 22-1 (96%-win rate) spot for tonight's game between Houston and Illinois. It's the best FREE CBB spot I have found all season long. I will personally DM it to the first 500 people who Like and Comment "CBB"! (Must be following)

@WPT If she cheated.. she'd have to know the full runout (for river).. and if she had a scheme that elaborate.. I'd think she'd be smart enough to know that this was not the hand to cheat with (because it would be too obvious).. she would've had far less obvious opportunities.

@iamrahstradamus the bet of the year was actually taking Lakers +8.5 at halftime (when they were down 13). I honestly can't remember a play I was more confident in that one given no Cade ($$$$$$)

Lakers were the single greatest sucker bet of the day. Lakers riding a 9 game win steak against a Pistons team with no Cade. I know the books cleaned up on that one. Carlito said it best.....When you can't see the angles no more, you in trouble baby!

@wvfunnyguy Cherry clans were so good! Closest thing I can find now days is the sour cherries in the generic candy bags that used to be 2 for $1. They would definitely be canceled nowadays tho because of the logo 😂😂😂

Biggest misconception in poker: People think the strategic part is the hardest. It’s not. The hardest part is the mental game. Breakeven for months, uncertainty, doubting yourself. If you master your mental game, you have the potential to achieve everything.

Here are the 10 best KenPom teams ever (ratings date back to '96-97). Four of them are playing Saturday in San Antonio. Maybe the most loaded Final Four ever? This is downright ridiculous. A combined 135-16.

Pace inflation is a hell of a drug. Wilt’s 50.4 PPG season is one of the most amazing volume seasons ever, but on a per-75 possession basis it ranks 135th all time at 28.5 points per 75. A reminder that raw per-game stats and possession-based stats tell different stories.

⌚️ Damian Lillard's 71 in a game with just 92 scoring opportunities is outrageous. Wilt's 78 in a game with 178 scoring opps is less so. We need to talk about pace inflation: tomthefinder.com/p/the-hidden-c…

@abarone68 It's a fold the first time unless HJ finds all the QJs, A5s, type shoves. I'm folding now though

Had this doozy of a hand yesterday with 6 left in the $250 Sunday Super Classic. Chipleader opens UTG, 13 BB stack in HJ makes it 9 BBs, and I have the dreaded POCKET JACKS. Hand seems too strong to fold, but do we want to jam? I wasn't sure. Thought that it might be best to play our entire continuing range as a call. So that's what I did. Folded back to the chipleader who SHOVES. Now what? Payouts 1st: ~$36,000 2nd: ~$27,000 3rd: $21,877 4th: $16,870 5th: $13,008 6th: $10,031

@gtolab As poker players we can sometimes talk our way into defending any move from a theoretical perspective. This is an awful fold in this spot vs this villain. Full stop.
