@bensmithrugby According to @RugbyPass, Itoje only missed one tackle all game and completed 21 (second only to Conan on 24). He also made most turnovers of anyone.

The individual battle between Maro Itoje and Will Skelton was key for the Wallabies. Skelton was winning that skirmish. Itoje slipped off tackles on Skelton, conceded pens, and was generally rattled. Except Itoje played 80 against Skelton’s 47 mins. Once his nemisis was subbed, Itoje lifted and had a much better 2nd half. Skelton is Itoje’s kryptonite.

@RugbyInsideLine It's not a straight red - under the current laws those are for actions of outright thuggery (gouge, punch etc) or for actions that are always illegal. Given IFW attempts a wrap it's considered a technical offence hence the 20 min red

One Lions game down and people are already arguing that players from their country performed better than players from another country. Honestly pathetic. But on a seperate note, Jac Morgan & Tomos Williams were by far the two best players on the pitch imo.
