Napster got nailed because it built and ran the piracy system—central servers, control, and clear knowledge. Cox is different—it’s just the ISP pipe. The Supreme Court basically said knowledge + not cutting users off isn’t enough by itself. You now need real intent or active participation. Being the road isn’t the same as driving the getaway car.

That’s exactly the point—This was a pre-trial order, not a decision on the merits. And they’re almost always at this early stage where you see these kinds of orders—and are nearly all from Democrat-appointed judges. That’s why the real outcome is what survives appeal, not this. It’s ripe for politically motivated obstruction.

@mattvanswol I don’t understand why at Houston. When I saw Austin it could have been SXSW traffic. I flew thru DFW and LAX this week. Fastest thru one can expect using Touchless Pre-Check. Pre-check line was not long. Didn’t see anything out of the ordinary for the commoner’s line.
