$BWXT another weekly base I had been watching.. Just blowing through resistance on the 1st FTD. None here but love the action and broadening of longer term breakouts. Now we found out what the market is made of.. Do these stick? If yes, better strap in for an explosive ride

@bc1aa1fa3932407 Theres a term that I certainly did not coin but "beach ball underwater".. things hold up, hold up, hold up making higher lows during corrections and markets making lower lows. Then, the market tide goes out and the 'beach balls' shoot higher.

I gave myself permission if we got a FTD to buy ONE gap. So how did I decide? What names have a long weekly structure? What names trading at highs? what names had volume? What names if market stays firm can make up for ALL of those I let go? Enter $WULF. A+ weekly base break

General post FTD thoughts: Gaps EVERYWHERE. Some will lead to much higher, most will present some cleaner looks. I came in 35% invested. Remembered the MANTRA if we get a FTD, buy something. Did just that. Wasnt all that tempted to buy more than 1 name. Set ups will COME! HAGN

Tried $TER today, and took it off as the market rolled in the afternoon on a headline. Kept it nice and tight, tiny loss. No sweat. Soon after that, market rips on the Pakistan headline, taking everything up into the bell. Then we all know the after hours action. My trading tale for the day!

@TraderAren Agreed sorta awkward time for a huge gap with the leading stuff already extended. But we may start to get tight action again with moving averages respected. That’d be A++

The market has climbed the “wall of worry” and has been rewarded for it. A huge gap following the agreement on a ceasefire.
Leading sectors (memory, fiber optics, physical infrastructure, AI agent infrastructure, etc.) have already broken out to new highs.
Currently still long $FSLY; given the large gap, I’ll play it safe and not significantly increase my exposure. I’d rather wait for pullbacks to short-term moving averages or U&R setups over the next few days.
