Adley & Cowser looking much more like the good versions of themselves than 2025 versions
Mayo's defense has been shockingly good
Alonso & Beavers have been hitting
Helsley is good Helsley, not Mets Helsley
Rogers excellent
Just need the middle of the pen & 2-5 SPs to steady
Orioles Statistics@OriolesStatist1
Always frustrating to lose And Bradish will need to find his command more consistently (always the last thing to return post TJS - I still have plenty of confidence it will) But love seeing Gunnar go deep, encouraged Wells bounced back, Ward and Blaze are looking amazing etc

@SALES_720 @KevinMcNamara33 Totally agree. It's funny that schools can afford to pay assistant coaches and backup players hundreds of thousands of dollars, but allegedly can't afford to hire an experienced, sophisticated contract expert who could potentially save them millions of dollars.
English

@DraftKing25 @KevinMcNamara33 It is his budget. This GM role is a joke and just another cost that schools cannot afford.

Bryan Hodgson: ''I haven't spoken to one kid on the phone, or an agent, that's asked for less than a million dollars. Not one.''

@SALES_720 @KevinMcNamara33 Exactly. And we wonder why players are getting overpaid!
English

@DraftKing25 @KevinMcNamara33 95% of college GM’s not lawyers or even business people. The are director of recruiting/asst coaches with new titles.
English

@SALES_720 @KevinMcNamara33 * talking to a player or agent about money.
English

@DraftKing25 @KevinMcNamara33 Because he is picking his players and has to coach them.
Stupid tweet.

@CF_Budge This proves TCU is okay with being an average, middle of the pack team in the Big 12.
English

Moves like this are the smartest thing you can do in this era. Even if TCU suspects they could be doing better with someone else, you'd rather have the proven commodity secured.
Most wins in the conference since 2022 means he's doing something right.

3 takeaways from Orioles’ 5-4 loss to Pirates:
• Starting rotation an early concern
• Colton Cowser vs. changeups
• Blaze Alexander showing why Orioles traded for him baltimoresun.com/2026/04/03/ori…
English

@Evan_P_Grant Based on early results, this should be the bullpen depth chart for now:
CL - Alexander (L)
SU - Junis
SU - Beeks (L)
MID - Winn
MID - Baumler
MID - Garcia (L)
MID - Martin 🤡
LR - Rocker (if still alive)

@PeteThamel 23-15 since 2023. Three years remaining on his contract. Was an extension really necessary?

Dusty May on modern day recruiting
“We used to recruit guys for three years and spend 200 man hours away from our families begging these 15 to 18 year olds to come and then they’d decide to go in another direction. Think about all the time and resources you wasted. Recruiting has definitely been streamlined and it is much more efficient than it’s ever been.”
English

@CycloneATH Love this line from AD Jamie Pollard:
"Winning is important, and winning is fun. But how we win is what matters most."
English

@statsowar @skhanjr For a TE2, why is the 75th percentile value less than the 25th percentile? Typo?
English

@jcalvinmeyer In a much larger sample, Cowser has been among the team leaders in K/PA every year.
English

@MojoTilty @Orioles Well there's a reason the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th best hitters this season after 4 games are batting 7,8,9.
English

@DraftKing25 @Orioles Well the 7,8,9 hitters today are currently the 2nd,3rd, and 4th best hitters this season after 4 games. So maybe hold your tongue.
