You can optimize the process (efficiency is good), but success will always be about PEOPLE.
I love scheme and strategy, but my favorite part of football will always the people. I love the jokes in the film room and the camaraderie of the locker room.
Nothing can replace that.

Echoing this. Was fortunate to give a talk to coaches and staffers last week about AI in football. There are a lot of buzzwords out there, but understanding how AI fits in your program's toolkit is key.

This is coming to college football. I’ve had conversations with multiple head college guys now who are finally seeing what AI is going to do. Staff sizes will be reduced and money will be reallocated to recruiting. If you’re a young guy in college you better learn how to use AI. The days of Visio being the required tech stack are gone.

And, for what it's worth, I think "AI in college football" looks less like "reducing head count" and more like "building systems to help your staffers do better eval and spend their time focused on the important stuff"
