With a likely run on offensive line I think HOU would be inclined to take Rutledge or Bisontis if they like them at 28 instead of waiting and trying to get them at 38 over defensive tackle where I prefer the depth on day 2 over OL.
Caserio & Demeco have had smaller boards than most teams in the NFL and do not care about consensus rankings and try to predict runs on players more than anything.
Not going to critique “value” in this kind of draft with how Houston’s roster looks, just get good football players.

I wouldn't. The Texans are going to have to pay a big piece of their salary cap pie to a small amount of players, which means I want as many players on the two-deep that are on rookie deals. Thus, give me more drafts picks not less.

28 & 69 for 19 with Carolina is not a bad price. Miller is arguably the safest OT, no arm length, physicality or experience questions

NYG now have two picks in the top 10. LB Sonny Styles, I was told by a GM, is “cleanest pick in the draft.” Grab him at 5. Will be eventual defensive captain. Spencer Fano at right tackle w the next pick. Select a WR in round two….might as well print playoff tickets Monday.
