Niantic: we're not rushing to add new levels because our priority is to cater to new players and make sure they don't feel too overwhelmed thinking they will need "10 years" to catch up to veteran trainers Also Niantic: - Hasn't adjusted stardust gains ONCE against game inflation (introduction of xl mon, removal of classic cups in pvp), making it very difficult for their beloved new players to power up mon for raid counters and competitive pvp. - Ignores the essentially unplayable game boards in places that aren't big cities and requires THEIR PLAYERS to do THEIR WORK for them through a convoluted, backwards system with criteria so strict that it works AGAINST players' interests AND can take MONTHS to see any progress. Very difficult for their beloved new players to collect resources and coins without many pokestops and gyms around. - Enforces a rigid system of raiding that makes it difficult to complete raids because it has become harder to rely on help from easily-accessible remote trainers. This excludes their beloved new players from properly participating in the tougher raids unless they are willing - and COMFORTABLE - to find strangers that may or may not even exist in their area to play with in person. - Imposes inflexible, and often nonsensical, time windows for events. Using community day as an example, why would your beloved new players, who may not be particularly invested in the game yet, choose to sweat their asses off for 3 hours during the hottest part of the day? Yeah, I'd say being a new pogo player atm sounds pretty damn daunting. And it's not because of the prospect of level 60, but rather because of the ignorant, exclusionary, and defiant decisions regarding accessibility and affordably that YOU, Niantic, have made up until this point. But please tell us more about how y'all strive to encourage and retain new players @NianticLabs @johnhanke @MichaelSteranka
