Noticed that anti vax doctors are never infectious diseases specialists or paediatricians? Why do you think that is?

@LarryGreer20 @MimilovesCLC @DrNeilStone I defer to your knowledge of both medicine and the rules of medical ethics, so my question is not rhetorical. In my line of work, even if I believe Option A is better than Option B, failure to disclose a financial incentive for “A” would be unethical.

@LarryGreer20 @MimilovesCLC @DrNeilStone Not telling the patient about a financial incentive that scales up as more of the “class” gets shots would still be unethical, wouldn’t it, Doctor? Doesn’t the patient have a right to know of that incentive?

@MimilovesCLC @LarryGreer20 @DrNeilStone Note that the pay goes up as more people get shots. So a doctor has a financial incentive to treat patients as a class, not as individuals with unique risk profiles and medical histories. Not disclosing this incentive would be unethical.

@MimilovesCLC @LarryGreer20 @DrNeilStone I’ve never been to a chiropractor. Lots of documents like this have been posted. They seem easy to fake. Do you think they’re fake? Disinformation? Have you ever had a pediatrician go weirdly hard-sell on giving your kid a shot for a rare disease?

@foldsproteinsII Absolutely! Now can we agree that people should have full, free, and informed consent? That core liberal value got chucked over the side by panicky vaccine fanatics during the pandemic. Shouldn’t we all be free to get however many shots we want?

I just want us to be able to come to some kind of agreement about vaccines with anti vaxxers. Can we at least all admit vaccines don’t cause bullet holes?

While I was briefly back in the US, I was disheartened by how many would say "oh is that still going on?" when referring to the war in Ukraine. It was incredibly frustrating for me especially as an active duty medic in the Armed Forces of Ukraine. At that point its just willful ignorance. Everyone has a cellphone, laptop, tablet, etc. Information is literally at your finger tips. But instead of informing oneself properly, the choice seems to be watching AI slop, mainstream media, and other short attention span apps. The was is not over, it has not slowed down, we are still working and fighting for freedom in Ukraine, the frontline is still 1000 km long, civilians are still being killed by r*ssia every day. We can only go so far to inform you. The rest is up to you. Up to date sources, @KyivIndependent @KyivPost @saintjavelin @U24_gov_ua Stay informed and inform others.

Patient-blaming rhetoric is baked into alternative medicine. The idea is that if you could just... “Change your mindset” “Live naturally” “Eliminate toxins” (with supplements) “Resolve trauma” ...then you can avoid serious health conditions such as cancer.
