🇧🇪 400K Belgium Bol.com Dataset Allegedly for Sale
A dark web post claims the sale of a 400,000-record dataset linked to Bol.com users, one of the largest e-commerce platforms in Belgium and the Netherlands.
📊 Key Claims:
• Dataset size: ~400K users
• Data types allegedly include:
Full names
Email addresses
Phone numbers
Dates of birth, gender, nationality
ID numbers (high risk if true)
Full address details
Additional shipping & order data:
Order history, delivery status
Tracking numbers
Payment/shipping metadata
Sample data shared via paste sites
Seller offering escrow-based transaction
🧠 Threat Intelligence Insight:
• This is rich, structured e-commerce data, which is highly valuable for:
Account takeover campaigns
Targeted phishing (order-themed lures)
Identity fraud (if ID numbers confirmed)
Presence of order + shipping data increases risk:
Enables highly convincing scams (“your package”, “delivery issue”)
Could originate from:
Third-party vendor / logistics partner
Credential stuffing + aggregation
Or direct breach (less certain)
⚠️ Assessment:
• Medium credibility:
Data structure looks realistic
But no confirmation of direct breach vs. aggregation
Sample links suggest:
At least partial dataset exists
⚠️ Risk Implications:
• Large-scale phishing campaigns targeting customers
• Identity theft and fraud
• Increased success rate of social engineering attacks
• Potential regulatory exposure (GDPR implications)
📊 Status: Unverified — but high exploitation potential due to data richness
⸻
💬 When attackers have both identity and order history, phishing becomes personalization at scale.

Behind the Scenes: Ethiopia’s Red Sea Port Negotiations 🌊🇪🇹🇪🇷
Here’s what we know about Ethiopia’s behind‑the‑scenes Red Sea port negotiations. Chinese Special Envoy to the Horn of Africa, Ambassador Hu Changchun, has been shuttling between Addis Ababa, Asmara, and Riyadh in an effort to broker a deal between Eritrea and Ethiopia.
Beyond the port of Assab, Ethiopia is finalizing a feasibility study to develop two additional ports on the Red Sea coast. Ethiopian authorities insist that a commercial port without a naval base would pose a security liability for the nation’s maritime commerce. Eritrea opposes this.
Ethiopia has demanded the unclaimed island of Ras Dumeira (currently considered terra nullius) as the site for its naval base. Both Saudi Arabia and the Chinese envoy are agreeable to granting Ras Dumeira to Ethiopia, but Eritrea has rejected the proposal.
Addis Ababa also seeks a corridor linking its territory with Assab, stating that no third party should be able to monitor what passes through it. Eritrea has rejected this as well.
All parties have agreed that Ethiopia’s state‑owned Shipping and Logistics Corporation will transport Eritrea’s mineral exports—primarily to China. Confidential talks are expected to continue in the coming weeks.

LeetCode is dead.
Developers don't write code line-by-line anymore. They orchestrate AI agents working in parallel, review AI-generated code, and make architectural decisions.
That's the job now.
But most interview processes haven't caught up. They still test algorithm memorization instead of AI fluency, code review, and judgment.
We're building assessments for next-gen hiring that mirror how developers actually work. Here's how we think about it:

A big portion of the world look at this photo and see heroes, leaders that were able to stand up against the ‘evil American colonialists’
And that’s a real shame, as the world has now forgotten the horrific massacres these same people committed in January
That’s another reason I consider this unnecessary war a strategic loss, not only for the U.S., but for the civilized world as a whole
