This has been confirmed. A U.S. bunker buster bomb failed to explode. So now Iran has it, and they are reverse engineering it. So billions of dollars of U.S. technology and R&D just fell, literally, right into Iran's lap. And Iran can use what it learns to build weapons to penetrate deep underground to destroy bunkers in Israel, obviously, if a missile exchange ever starts up again.

He's likely referring to the B-2 GBU-57 bunker busters, or U.S. Tomahawks.
Why this is serious: Unexploded munitions can be reverse engineered.
The U.S. is already seeking unexploded munitions from Lebanon dropped by Israel last year, to avoid a repeat of what happened in 2018, where Russia boasted about reverse engineering unexploded Tomahawks from Syria.

So the U.S. wants Iran to freeze its nuclear program (which was allegedly destroyed in the 12 day war), stop its ballistic missile program (which cannot reach the U.S), cut off support for proxies (which pose no risk for the U.S.), and fix its human rights record (sure...)
Why?
How does all this benefit America, and why is it all worth risking a war?
Don't get me wrong, I hate the Iranian regime and I hope they are replaced soon
But why should the U.S. take on that responsibility? How does this benefit Washington's foreign policy and the American taxpayer?
The only American ally this benefits is Israel, while other American allies (Gulf nations and Turkey) do not want this war.

🇮🇷 Saudi and Gulf nations hated Iran for years and wished nothing but the fall of the regime But after Israel struck Qatar, the calculus changed, and they became a bigger threat to the Gulf then Iran Now Gulf nations, historical American allies and Iran rivals, are leading efforts to prevent American strikes on Iran 😂 Iran became a regional deterrent against Israeli growth and aggression. As well as take advantage of space environment, such as being So Cold, to operate Quantum computers, by which one of the largest constraints is thermal.
